I always found it amazing that Borderlands 2/TPS made an effort to include different sexualities without needing to force it down our throats. Axton being bi-sexual, Maya being asexual, Hammerlock is gay and Athena is lesbian. But you really have to read into what they say in order to pick that info up. It makes me smile that it’s included in any case
