Smyk Prototype, 1957. A Polish microcar prototype developed at the Automotive Industry Design Office in Warsaw, notable for its front-opening “door”. It lost out in a government competition to become Poland's official affordable mass-produced car. Just 17 units were made. The name "Smyk" is a Polish term for a "little kid".

for me being bi has contributed a huge amount to noticing all the ways in which romance and friendship run together and i think in general people would benefit from recognizing that romance and friendship are socially constructed categories used to describe a vast, nebulous, and often overlapping range of feelings

My way of parsing it:

Every Relationship is actually a specific, unique thing. We invented Shorthands, such as Friend or Husband, to help describe recurring motifs in Relationships. But. The labels are simplifications. They will always fail to adequately contain the entirety of the Relationship.

Tokyo Motor Show Moments Mazda RX500, 1970. 55 years ago, the star of the 17th Tokyo Show was developed by the research and design staff at the Toyo Kogyo Company. A showcase of Mazda's rotary engine technology it was never destined for production. The RX500 featured a fibreglass body, butterfly doors, and a mid-mounted 250hp, 10A twin-chamber Wankel engine.
