Moments before tumbling

Recent drawing I did as a "quick warmup" (that took about 2 hours) cause I was going through my stash of paper for ideas of what to draw on and a sheet of marker paper fell out of the pad, so I drew this on it. Done with alcohol marker, inking pen and pencil for sketching

A pair of dragons I drew in a pad of black paper I was working to use up, I also wanted to draw something that wouldn't require a bunch of preplanning like I usually do. Done with colouring pencil.

Noise

Been a while since I posted art, I've been drawing but my heads all over the place lately so it's been hard to keep on top of obligations. This started as wanting to practice drawing an actual character on black paper but ended up turning into a vent piece where I was trying to figure out the mess of feelings (still) in my head, this didn't get me any closer to making sense of my feelings but it's an expression of them in any case. Done with crayon + colouring pencil for the bg on black paper.

Would normally be hesitant to post vent art publicly but this is an old one by now so the feelings have long passed (did this a little over two months ago I think), plus with how I tend to work with vent art I usually only get into it when I stop thinking and work based on feeling (got a tendency of not being able to figure out why I'm feeling my feelings so I ruminate over the cause to no avail, art helps put the feelings in front of me to figure things out easier). Done with acrylic, a bit of cut out mixed media paper and a little paint marker for the tail bell.
