Lulu! Happy Birthday ☆

Happy Birthday! I really am truly grateful you were able to come into this world and stay with us for so long. I don’t know what I’d do without you or where I would be. Let’s do our best to celebrate happily today~ ! 

Mijin’s been obsessed with peach rings so she really wanted to get you a giant tub of them.

I’ve been obsessed with sea salt caramels and keep wanting to share with you until I realize the box is empty before I see you.

The brunette perked up as she heard the other female call out to her, turning a couple times before finding where the voice was coming from. “Who? Me?” Jillian accidently sputtered out in english and sighed roughly, repeating herself over in Korean. The female found herself switching between the two languages in her head and finding it rather difficult to speak Korean while flustered. It was a slightly embarassing habit really but it was part of her daily life nevertheless.  A sigh escaped past her lips as she fixed her bangs and realized in fact no one on the sidewalk needed help but her. “Ah.. y-yes. It’s embarassing really but I don’t know my way around and my phone died. Uh.. is there any way you can help me find a charging station?” She scratched the back of her head, scrunching her face. “I can repay you for your kindness!”

Luna couldn’t help but laugh at how flustered the other was, bringing up her right fist in an attempt to muffle the sound. The way the woman turned around a couple of times was amusing to see. It was similar to the image of a puppy chasing it’s own tail. ‘Settle down, don’t be mean now.’ She mentally reprimanded herself for laughing before calming down.

“It’s okay. Don’t be embarrassed. There are always newcomers to this city and those who are still learning to navigate around. ” Her lips curved up to a warm smile. “You are free to use my phone if you wish but you can usually go to an cafe to charge your phone,if an outlet is free, or go to a shopping mall that has a charging station.” She immediately waved her hand in dismissive manner. “Oh no. It’s okay! I’m just glad to be able to help you!”

“Ah… Luna, it’s a pleasure, I’m yoongi.” He nods his head, inhaling the smoke before letting them out again, the white mist fogging up his vision for a while. “I guess I should apologize, I’ve altered so many deaths with my meddling yes?” He smiles a little, thinking about the lives he prolonged and how inconvenient it must be, does grim reapers ever ‘reschedule’. 

He scans through the note on the piece of paper and nods his head. “Okay, I’ll go to this locations this week and I’ll see what I can do. Is there… some way I can contact you?”  

“Yoongi.” Luna repeated with a smile, committing the name to the face. The smell of cigarette reached her nose, causing it to wrinkle up a little. It was something she wasn’t quite fond of since it shortens a person’s lifespan. A bit of ironic from a reaper’s perspective. She chuckled softly at his words. “It’s fine. It doesn’t bother me that much but it might bother the one that sends out the date of their deaths.” 

“Of course! Ta dah~” She smiled, bringing out her cell phone and wriggling it lightly. “A way to contact me. Pretty anticlimactic, huh?” She offered the phone towards him. “Just put your number in and I’ll send you a quick text.”

Huh? (/eyes widen in shock, completely caught off guard) Well... (/hums, looking off shyly and putting together her thoughts) My crush is someone who is constantly very hard on himself, always saying that he’s a bad person because of the things he had done in the past. But to me, he is a very sweet, caring, and affectionate person. He would also put up with my antics too. (/smiles softly) I really like him and I want to be there for him. “Yeah, had to get away from some things for a bit.”  Chuckles under her breath and picks at her nails.  “Memories and all that.  But despite how crappy the “vacation” was.  I feel better you know?  Just came back about mm I wanna say a week ago?  Didn’t really leave the apartment though until today.  What about you Luna Bear?  Did I miss anything big?”

Luna nodded with a soft smile, understanding her situation. She was always pining for Chaerin’s happiness and after the events that happened, she didn’t mind her disappearances. As long as she returned to her in one piece. At her question, her smile became a nervous one. “I’ve been doing the same activities as reapers usually do,” she answered. “Though...one of my friends convinced me to go confess to someone I like. Nothing too big really!”

She gave a gentle smile, though however she knew not to ignore the feelings in the air—she had learned better over her past than to do so, but she knew time would tell, and she would not push in finding knowledge that would reveal itself, if it was needed to be known. “That is, if you can find me.” she teased back before her body leaned forward in a polite bow. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well, Luna. I am Rhea.”

“I dunno. I’m pretty good at finding people, you know!” Well...good at finding people of the deceased variety but the other didn’t need to know that. Luna grinned, relaxing a little. “Rhea? Like from greek mythology?” The idea of the other being a deity wasn’t too farfetched to her, especially with the vibes she was getting. She had met a few before though it was long ago.

“I need to know the severity of their condition.” He says, seemingly unfazed by the woman appearing beside him. “And where they live- or maybe you can just give me their profile so I can go to them myself.” 

Yoongi walks into the elevator and sighs, pulling out a pack of cigarette before lighting one up and shoving the rest back in his pocket. “Anyway. What are you, a reaper? I’ve never known a reaper would look so…” He’s trying to contemplate his words, taking a drag of his cigarette while looking at her up and down. “Normal.” 

“Of course.” Luna nodded with a smile, quickly scribbling down the location on a spare piece of paper. “The girl is currently in the hospital in another area while the boy is recovering at his home.” She informed as she passed the note over to him, entering the elevator also.

She gazed over at him, eyeing the cigarette for the moment before giving him a curt nod. “Why yes, I am the grim reaper, less emphasis on the grim though.” A soft chuckle left her at his comment. “I have to blend in somehow right? But please call me Luna. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

All though Jill had lived in Korea for over a year, today would be the first day she had traveled out of her comfort zone. The female often found it better to stay around campus and the shops and restaurants close to her apartment just off the SNU grounds. Today she had extra time and felt the need to travel into Seoul where she’d only been a number of times. 

“Ah! Nonononono.” She stopped mid step and stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, poking her phone screen with a whine. “What am I going to do now?” Jill clutched her head and frowned, realizing she left her powerbank at home and there was no where to charge her now dead phone. Sighing in disbelief she continued on her way thinking maybe she could find a place to possibly charge her phone and continue on her journey.

For all of her days as a reaper, she had spend most of them within the city, searching for the wandering souls of the deceased. And thus, she pretty much knew the layout of the city almost like the back of her hand and took advantage of that knowledge. She took care in making sure that people don’t get too suspicious of how she never aged in the places she frequented.

Leaning against the wall, Luna hummed along to the song coming from a shop nearby as she played card games on her phone. Upon hearing a whine then a sigh, she peered up from her phone, blinking. The young woman seemed distressed by something. Before she went any further, the blonde called out. “Excuse me! Do you need help?”

Natalya found hiding herself behind her twins figure tightly gripping onto her hand, despite it being her own idea to have the other teach her more about this paranormal world she still couldn’t help herself but feel highly alarmed when they’d encounter it. After all she’d daily tell herself that none of it was real and the moments where she’d stop deluding herself were so rare that the girl started to think of herself as insane. Sighing out softly she smiled faintly although her figure was still lightly shaky ‘’I-I’m..I-’m just not fond of this world…I’m doing my best to acknowledge it and everything..but—it’s still so hard to do. It’s like I’ve lied to myself for so long that I’m unable to trust my own two eyes..’’

Luna frowned and squeezed her twin’s hand back gently to reassure her. Okay...maybe this wasn’t such a bright idea. The reaper could feel the other shaking behind her. When the other had told her that she wanted to know more about the paranormal world, she thought taking a walk around an old graveyard where many spirits lingered would be a good step to take to let her get to used to it. But now, it looked like she was pushing someone who didn’t know how to swim in the deep end. She smiled softly. “I understand, Natayla. I don’t mean to overwhelm you by coming here. I just...want to help in some way. I don’t want you to be scared anymore.”
