going by the same station's more in-depth article, it's specifically uncooked fresh produce. If you cook it (they only say "higher temperature", other sites say 158 F) it'll kill the parasite. Your freezer probably doesn't go cold enough to kill the parasite that way, so don't bother trying that. If it's produce that you peel it will likely be safe after peeling, but you'd need to wash your hands after in case the peel did have it.
so I will keep throwing cooked vegetables in my scrambled eggs. anything I wouldn't cook/peel, probably a pass for now.
