I'm in my second playthrough of Silksong and it's been wonderful to encounter conversations and characters, bosses, and lore that I missed the first time around.

EXCEPT I just put Farsight in my house and I didn't realize it would tell me exactly how much I'm missing. I thought I was doing so well especially with completing Nuu's journal!! Seeing those blank spaces is so upsetting aaagh

I finally moved from a period tracker app to an offline spreadsheet. It feels so liberating to never have to see another "Subscribe to Clue Plus" popup ad ever again!!!

The way my heart would drop every time I wanted to input or view my data only to be interrupted by a "Get Clue Plus for 10% off" or "Read this health article with Clue Plus" or "Track more/analyze more with Clue Plus" ad, and then I had to wait for the [x] to appear so I could clear the popup, and then the whole app would slow down oh my fucking god.

If anyone is curious, I started with this article & google sheet from Aliza Aufrichtig and then shaved it down to what I want (first in Libre Office Calc which i ended up hating and then in Numbers). I also keep a simplified table in Obsidian where I track brain stuff and physical stuff and keep all my other notes.

I truly feel like all the hours spent learning how to use a bunch of new spreadsheet functions in different programs and learning how to use Obsidian was a much better use of my life than waiting 30 seconds for Clue to finish advertising to me every time I opened it. like, not only do i have control of and easy access to my health data but i also got a lot of ~enrichment~ out of it.

i am well aware of the absolutely fucked up things eating disorders do to people’s brains, and i am sympathetic, but I still think acknowledging publicly that these celebrities are promoting looking emaciated on death’s door is important. Can you imagine being 13 and seeing this shit? Every celebrity event looks like a thinspo board, it’s awful.
