What sorts of canon characters will be allowed? Is this going to be skeleton, appless, semi-appless?

hello!! the intention is for writers to have free reign post shadow and bone - which means everyone will be allowed to follow canon after that or go in whichever direction they prefer, so all canon characters within the grishaverse will be more than welcome! as for original characters, there will be no limits or cap unless in the future it proves to be necessary (ie too many grisha with the same ability).

considering there are many, many canon characters - skeletons will not be offered for original characters initially but we’d still love to have them! and we’ll also allow for members to create skeletons for wanted original characters if they wish to. as for the apping process, right now the plan is semi-appless (though some info will definitely be required).

grisha is an upcoming roleplay group set in the grishaverse, accepting of canon and original characters alike. to be inclusive of players who have and have not read the novels, we will be following the timeline of netflix’s adaptation: shadow and bones. that being said, book readers who do not agree with any particular casting will be free to swap faces of the canon they wish to take (as long as there is no whitewashing).
