The novella is set to release in summer 2026 and is now available for preorder!

The description on the Instagram announcement reads:

Dregs Edition of Six of Crows has been edited

Reports on social media are coming in that the tenth anniversary editions of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom have been edited in several places, most notably removing mentions to the characters' ages.

The books were marketed as having new art and a new map but there was no official announcement about any changes.

New book has appeared on Goodreads!

The Six of Crows novella has appeared on Goodreads, with the title Six of Crows: A Darker Shore: Letters from Ketterdam!

It doesn't have a description yet but it does have an expected release date of 30 June 2026.

Leigh Bardugo has just announced brand new editions of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom to be released on the 10th anniversary, on the 30th September 2025.

The new editions will feature new art and maps of the Ice Court and Ketterdam.

Leigh Bardugo recently posted on her Instagram story that she is working on some small bonus Six of Crows content for the anniversary on the 29th September.

The image reads:

The illustrations from the Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom Owlcrate special editions.

After Leigh Bardugo's appearance on Good Morning America to discuss her new book, The Familiar, the Sun US have released an article discussing her wishes to bring back the Shadow and Bone show after its cancellation.

"It was true magic to see that happen," Leigh responded.

The author went on to say that the series was also heartbreaking because she felt that they had so much more story left to tell before it was canceled.

"I'm grateful everyday for our incredible cast and incredible writers and I hope that it will find a place someplace else," she said.

New strategy: Get Season 1 of Shadow and Bone trending in the Netflix Top 10!

Recent intel has uncovered a game-changing strategy: Netflix tracks metrics for each season of a show separately, meaning we must channel our collective strength into making Season 1 of Shadow and Bone trend on Netflix! Streaming Season 2 as well only divides our efforts, so for this week (Dec. 11-17) only stream Season 1 of Shadow and Bone on Netflix. Do not stream Season 2 this week!

Whether you’re actively watching the show or streaming it in the background, make sure the volume is on (lowest setting or plugging in earphones works if you need quiet), and don’t skip through to your favorite parts. The show must be watched all the way through, from start to finish. Also, make sure you stream a short episode of a different show between rewatching the season so Netflix doesn’t think you’re a bot!

Why Streaming Matters:

1. High streaming numbers signal a revenue stream Netflix has underestimated.

2. Lots of complete views show fans are deeply engaged vs. casually tuning in.

3. Concrete data is a language Netflix understands. Let’s speak it fluently!

When NBC canceled Manifest, their fans got it trending in the Netflix Top 10, which had a lot to do with Netflix saving their show. We got Shadow and Bone trending as the #1 show on Netflix before, so we can get back into the Top 10 again! We need 230,000 full season views of Shadow and Bone Season 1 THIS WEEK! That seems like a daunting task, but considering we have more than 175,000 signatures on our petition, it is possible to achieve it if we all work together!

If Netflix wants to play games with their so-called algorithms, we can game the system, too. Channel your inner Kaz Brekker, and let’s do this!
