Scott leaned back in his chair, one leg crossed over the other, coffee in hand...lukewarm and strong enough to clean rust. "Promotion... huh."

He set the mug down with a quiet clink. Fingers tapped against the ceramic like it’d answer him back.

“Boy's movin' up, I guess."

He lets out a snort. "Didn't think yellin' and missin' bullets counted as qualifications these days."

He leaned forward with a low creak of the chair, dragging a calloused hand down his face. That slow kind of tired only a man who's seen too much could wear so easy. "Well I'll be damned. Guess this place really is goin’ downhill." he muttered with a snake like snicker

Scott blinked. "Pride Month?" he echoed, like the words didn’t quite click. then after a few minutes it sorta went off on his head "Ooohhh I see I see-" he lets out a soft chuckle shaking his head

"Ain't no one had stuff like that back where I grew up. You either… y'know. Kept quiet. Or ya didn't stay long."

He let out a long breath, shook his head. "Ain't that somethin'. Folks celebratin' now. Bein' honest with themselves. Bein' seen."

He gave Lime a tired smile. "Heh. 'Bout time."

A pause. A quiet sip. Then, a lopsided smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

The usual morning jingle plays. but soon it faded out and replaced with something different...a new voice! somthing slicker, smoother. As the mic crackles to life, instead of Scott’s warm Texan drawl, there’s a distinct Italian lilt, rich and theatrical.

"Ahhh, miei cari ascoltatori!!, what a delightful surprise, sì? I know, I know...you were expectin' the usual gruff, gun-slingin' cowboy to greet ya, but today, you get me! Gio Martins, the great, the master of media, the spice in your otherwise bland radio waves."

A soft chuckle, followed by the clink of a glass being set down.

"Now, don’t go worryin’ about Scotty! He's off playin’ dress-up in my studio, probably touchin' things he shouldn’t and turning my otherwise pristine well kept studio into an utter Pigsty... Meanwhile, I get the pleasure of takin' over this fine establishment. Oh, and don't think I’m just here to read out the usual news and weather- no, no, no. We're classing things up today! Music, stories, a little intrigue… maybe even some gossip, eh? Who's to say?"

A pause, then a smirk

"So sit back, pour yourself somethin' strong!! not that watered-down swill Scott keeps in his cabinets...and let’s make this a show to remember~!"

scott sat in his usual spot in the radio tower, the sunlight bleeding through his blinds, The hum of static occasionally crackled as a slow sweet tune played faintly in the background, a song he wasn't quite familiar with but a song he finds some sort of comfort in. The tune itself filled the otherwise quiet space, only the song itself and the bugs and crickets outside to fill the silence. Through the large, slightly smudged station window, he could see the expanse of the green muddy landscape outside, still under the late afternoon sun.

No callers had come through for hours, days even. Scott leaned back in his creaky chair, the worn leather protesting slightly as he stretched an arm outward and towards the nearby mini fridge near his desk, His fingertips brushed the cool handle when- knock, knock.

The sudden sound cut through the lazy rhythm of the day, making Scott freeze mid-reach. He straightened, tilting his head toward the door

"Yeeellow?" he called out "You’re free ta come in!"

his voice echoed slightly in the small room as he swiveled the chair back to face the door, one hand instinctively adjusting his hat

It wasn’t often he ventured away from home this way.

And frankly, despite his profession; every step felt foreign.

Giovanni…where was that man’s office? Ángel slipped from corner to corner of the bases labyrinthine hallways with silent ease, leaving no trace but for the soft gleam of his clothing; pale yellow like hope incarnate. Tense and vigilant, he peeked from entrance to entrance, observing each hallway…until he came upon a door he couldn’t infer the contents of from appearance alone. There was no window to glimpse through—no typography to indicate the rooms use—by all means he almost continued by it entirely; almost presumed it as storage…but in passing, the yellow spy’s ear caught the soft sound of music from the other side.

Halting in his steps, Ángel wearily glanced up, then down the hall…before ultimately deciding that there was no better shot than to simply try. Baiting a slight sigh, the yellow mercenary wracked his knuckles softly across the door and stepped back—expecting the worst, when:

“Yeeellow? … You’re free ta come in!”

While it certainly wasn’t the green teams spy, the voice was familiar..he’d certainly heard it before. Whether in battle, or someplace else, his memory blurred some..but that wasn’t all too important, not when he’d been invited inside! The once serious demeanor that etched his countenance melted away some at the friendliness he heard, and for a moment, he figured he had a chance of asking the mercenary on the other side for some directions. Spy opened the door with a bright, though slightly sheepish smile as he took a half step forward, his posture rising tall and proudly—despite how lost he was.

“Hello..!” The Spaniard began. “I was looking for someone who invited me over today, yes….I’m dreadfully sorry to interrupt.”

Ángel was aware of the mixed messages his explanation could send, and he expected that the GRN mercenary would react with anything ranging from confusion and skepticism, to defense and protectiveness of their environment. The least he could do was appear non threatening and sincere, speaking softly and earnestly as his hands hung at his hips, exposed and empty.

As the other man stepped into the recording booth, Scott's eyes widened in surprise. A YLW on the main base? That there was a rare sight. He raised his hands in mock surrender, a playful grin spreading across his face as he let out a soft chuckle.

"Whoa now! Ain’t too often ya spy a yellow roamin' 'round these parts, much less my so-called 'worst rival...'"

he joked, laughing as he leaned back in his chair. even though he was the teams battle engineer as well as the radio host for their FM radio station...he uh...Well he aint too good at one of those things due to lack of experience

"Well, I reckon I'll be kind...fer the time bein'. We ain’t fightin' right now, so I'll give ya a free pass... as long as ya don’t go messin' with this here control station, ya hear?"

He snickered, tapping the edge of his desk

"Anyways, who ya lookin’ for? If it’s Giovanni, well, ya might as well forget it. That man’s runnin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off. either sweet-talkin’ yer pals or stirrin’ up a ruckus with his fancy shows and magazines and such. That boy’s got a knack for the grand shenanigans, no doubt about it..."

His tone remained light and playful as he leaned back further, crossing his arms as he waited for the intruder’s response, his grin never faltering. After all, enemies on the battlefield didn’t matter much here...at least not in his booth. A caller was still a caller, and a visitor was a visitor. Besides, it wasn’t every day he had company, even if it wasn’t exactly who he’d been expecting.

Hello everybody!

This announcement is about the Team Fortress Roleplay project we have!

Our project consists of a community of fans that enjoy roleplaying and creating stories to come together and make something we can all enjoy (fancy words for we are internet friends that enjoy roleplaying)

We have a limited set of people who roleplay certain characters and, unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our Spy/Medic roleplayer for reasons I won’t public disclose as to respect their privacy

Due to this, we have decided that our new Medic will be @the-red-medic-tf2 and our spy is still undecided (but we have interest in that role by some server members), past interactions will be disregarded and lore will be slightly altered

The alterations include:

Spy, as for now only has 4 biological children, those being: RED Scout (@bonkbonkbonkboinkbonk), Striker (@reds-bastard-punk), GRN Scout (@zesty-lime-scout) and Rascal (@thenumberonerascal)

But the scoutlings are free to keep doing their shenanigans)

GRN lore will have a different backstory and the additions of a new character made by @richard-on-green

Uh, hey Internet. So, uh, I’m Jonathan Watts, and right now, I’m halfway to the BLU base somewhere out in New Mexico. Teufort, I think? One of those places with all the dust and, uh, people shooting each other for… reasons. Anyway, yeah, I’m officially part of BLU Division now.

Ms. Pauling- she’s nice, by the way, super nice compared to, uh, certain Australians EHEM MR HALE AKA my old boss- actually told me why I’m here, which, you know, cool of her. Apparently, I’ve got some ‘hacker’ skills or whatever? I like the term 'programmer' because I don’t hack, okay ehehe...yeah- But uh yeah, I guess BLU’s tech situation was kind of a mess, and they needed me to, uh, "even the playing field" or something.

So here I am, laptop in hand, documenting my adventure into... whatever this is. I’ll also probably overshare about my day-to-day because I heard there are nine other mercenaries, and, uh, I have to live with them. For a long time. Like, a VERY long time. So… yeah. This’ll be fun. Or a disaster. We’ll just see. Anyways I will keep this "blog" updated as much as possible.

As night settles in, the moonlight spills softly through the window, casting faint silver lines across the room. The clock quietly ticks its way to midnight when the door creaks open. A weary Scott steps in, his movements slow and clumsy as he stumbles toward the bed, being ever so careful not to wake his partner.

Scott's nights had grown longer lately, the deep, dark bags under his eyes more visible than ever. Luckily he has his goggles to hide em... But this time, it wasn’t from the usual- endless station work and record or long hours spent tinkering with machines. No, lately, even those distractions felt impossible to bother with

It didn't take much to rouse Emmett. The man had always been a bit of a light sleeper. Though being with Scott had somehow worsened this. The slightest tumble caused Emmett to wake up.

Emmett groans softly as he sits up, rubbing at his eyes. He turns to face his lover and a small smile graces his face. Though a glance at the clock quickly wiped the smile away. Emmett pulls himself out of bed and takes a few steps to be in front of Scott. Without the blanket covering him Scott could see that Emmett was wearing his night robes.

It's late meine Liebe. Must you always stay in the tower so late?

Scott offered a weary smile, rubbing the back of his neck. stretching it out as he avoided Emmett's gaze.

"Just the usual station hiccups, Em,"

he muttered, his tone light but edged with fatigue.

"Had some unexpected dead air during the late-night broadcast...equipment decided to act up at the worst possible time. Spent a bit longer than I'd like troubleshooting to make sure it doesn't happen again."

He stepped closer, reaching out to gently touch Emmett’s arm. His fingers lingered for a moment, as if grounding himself.

"Nothin' worth worryin' over, I promise. Now, come on...let’s get you back in bed before I end up feelin' guilty for wakin' you."

Scott's tone was light, but his smile didn’t quite reach his eyes, and there was a flicker of something unspoken in his expression...there and gone in an instant.

Emmett sighs softly as he listens to Scott. He reaches up and holds Scott's face, slowly rubbing his thumbs against Scott's cheeks. He stays like that for a few moments before moving his hands the slightest bit higher and removing Scott's goggles. He looks Scott in the eyes, worried eyes meeting tired ones.

I'm sorry meine Liebe. You know how I vorry. I just can't help but zhink of vhat happened to you vhen you don't come home at your usual time... You've been staying later und later...

Scott let out a quiet chuckle, leaning into Emmett’s touch as a soft sigh escaped him. For a moment, the warmth of his hand seemed to ease some of the tension Scott carried.

"I know, I know..."

he said softly, offering a faint smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

"But really, Em, it ain't nuthin' to worry 'bout."

His gaze flickered to the window, and his shoulders stiffened slightly. He looked away, his fingers fidgeting with the hem of his sleeve

"Really..."

he started again, but the slight crack in his voice betrayed him. Clearing his throat, he forced a weak laugh

"Y’know how it gets, broadcasts run long technical issues and such the usual chaos."

The words came too quickly, too rehearsed, and his grip on his composure wavered.Scott turned back to Emmett, his expression softening as he placed his hand over his husband’s Boyfriend

"But… thanks. For carin’...means alot ta me... Even if I’m a stubborn fool sometimes."

the last words came out more quieter, as if he didnt want to admit to them but...he ment every word

Emmett could hear how fake Scott's words sound. He'd be an idiot not to. Yet he says nothing to point it out. Emmett simply leans down to kiss Scott on the top of his head.

I vill always care. No matter vhat happens you und zhe kids vill always be my top priority.

Emmett pauses. His gaze now settles not on Scott. Looking anywhere but at his lover.

Until zhe day I die.

There's a slight wobble to Emmett's voice when he speaks. It was barely noticeable, but it's there. Emmett gives Scott another kiss, on the cheek this time.

He offered a faint, tired smile at the response, taking a deep breath before letting out a weary sigh.

"Well… I’m sure as hell that you're good father to the kids and as carin with me, but…"

His voice trailed off as he rubbed his eyes with his hand, his thumb and forefinger pressing lightly against the tired, aching sockets in a futile attempt to stay awake.

"I dunno if this is somethin’ you can just fix for me. It’s not… that simple"

He hesitated for a moment

"It’s just… y’know how I am. If somethin’ breaks, I fix it. That’s what I do. Doesn’t matter if it’s a busted radio, a machine actin’ up, or…"

He paused, his voice lowering slightly

"Hell, even if it’s me that’s broken"

He muttered to himself softly. The admission felt raw, and he chuckled nervously, as if trying to shake it off

"I just...I guess ya can say papa bear is just havin' a bit of trouble hibernatin' this winter...I just aint in the zone quite yet"

As night settles in, the moonlight spills softly through the window, casting faint silver lines across the room. The clock quietly ticks its way to midnight when the door creaks open. A weary Scott steps in, his movements slow and clumsy as he stumbles toward the bed, being ever so careful not to wake his partner.

It didn't take much to rouse Emmett. The man had always been a bit of a light sleeper. Though being with Scott had somehow worsened this. The slightest tumble caused Emmett to wake up.

Emmett groans softly as he sits up, rubbing at his eyes. He turns to face his lover and a small smile graces his face. Though a glance at the clock quickly wiped the smile away. Emmett pulls himself out of bed and takes a few steps to be in front of Scott. Without the blanket covering him Scott could see that Emmett was wearing his night robes.

It's late meine Liebe. Must you always stay in the tower so late?

Scott offered a weary smile, rubbing the back of his neck. stretching it out as he avoided Emmett's gaze.

"Just the usual station hiccups, Em,"

he muttered, his tone light but edged with fatigue.

"Had some unexpected dead air during the late-night broadcast...equipment decided to act up at the worst possible time. Spent a bit longer than I'd like troubleshooting to make sure it doesn't happen again."

He stepped closer, reaching out to gently touch Emmett’s arm. His fingers lingered for a moment, as if grounding himself.

"Nothin' worth worryin' over, I promise. Now, come on...let’s get you back in bed before I end up feelin' guilty for wakin' you."

Scott's tone was light, but his smile didn’t quite reach his eyes, and there was a flicker of something unspoken in his expression...there and gone in an instant.

Emmett sighs softly as he listens to Scott. He reaches up and holds Scott's face, slowly rubbing his thumbs against Scott's cheeks. He stays like that for a few moments before moving his hands the slightest bit higher and removing Scott's goggles. He looks Scott in the eyes, worried eyes meeting tired ones.

Scott let out a quiet chuckle, leaning into Emmett’s touch as a soft sigh escaped him. For a moment, the warmth of his hand seemed to ease some of the tension Scott carried.

"I know, I know..."

he said softly, offering a faint smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

"But really, Em, it ain't nuthin' to worry 'bout."

His gaze flickered to the window, and his shoulders stiffened slightly. He looked away, his fingers fidgeting with the hem of his sleeve

"Really..."

he started again, but the slight crack in his voice betrayed him. Clearing his throat, he forced a weak laugh

"Y’know how it gets, broadcasts run long technical issues and such the usual chaos."

The words came too quickly, too rehearsed, and his grip on his composure wavered.Scott turned back to Emmett, his expression softening as he placed his hand over his husband’s Boyfriend

"But… thanks. For carin’...means alot ta me... Even if I’m a stubborn fool sometimes."
