This one is by Chit.
A little while ago my aunt sent me a picture of a blood clam that she had for dinner. The bright red colour from the hemoglobin liquid inside its soft tissues really stood out to me. Pink pearls don’t typically grow from a clam’s center, but I added it to serve as a contrast between something “gruesome” with something “beautiful”.

Little Bernie, The Catalyst.
Conny’s little bunny that started everything. I wonder if he’ll appear once again to tie everything back to the start of the Grace Field kids’ journey.

2013-10-05 Sketches of the hand from an anatomy museum
I sketched these for a biomedical visualizations course that I took. Our assignment was to digitally render an anatomical specimen from the museum to a state as if it was never preserved. I was going to the hand, but I ended up going with something else. I really liked that course!
The Aye Aye monkey as a demon from The Promised Neverland.
These monkeys have long slender fingers that remind me of those TPN demons. They use their middle finger for foraging by tapping on trees and listening to insect larvae movement in cavities and then they fish them out. Back then, people in Madagascar thought they were an omen of ill luck (sort of like a demon??).

There’s still some parts of this painting that are bothering me (like the cup of tea and the fork) but I decided to stop here. Nevertheless, here’s my first completed watercolour painting!
