『✧°♔』 Ciel was just about settling into bed when the loud knocking could be heard echoing throughout the hall just outside his room. It … definitely wasn’t his door though. Still, it was obnoxious and very much a disruption, enough to file a noise complaint, but the young earl was sure there would be no hooligans staying at an upscale place such as this. Surprises around every corner.
With an irritated sigh, he proceeded to quickly slide his eyepatch back on and tie it into place before dragging his feet towards the door in order to see exactly what was going on. Surely someone must have dealt with this by now–
Knocking and hollering at the door directly beside his own was the recent insurance– erm…. acquaintance he had made while traveling to Germany on a mission for Her Majesty.
“Sullivan…?! What in the blazes are you doing here?!… and why are you riding atop a sheep?”
She tensed as the door next door opened, turning to face the figure peering out to see what all the racket was. Oh. Shoot. It was the wrong door, wasn’t it?
“Ah....” Well, it worked out in the end. At least she hadn’t been totally off. Now that would have just been embarrassing. Not like knocking on the wrong door in general and being so sure of herself wasn’t already. She cleared her throat quickly and straightened as the sheep shuffled and moved over to the right door at her direction.
“I came to see you, of course! Though if you mean why I’m in this city, I’m afraid I’ve no idea. I simply woke up here, in a room of my own, with this sheep.” Her smile was quick to return, almost beaming at the subject of her caretaker. “As for the sheep, this is Woolfram! That’s really is name! Amusing, isn’t it?” Still, she did give the sheep an affectionate pat.
“Apparently, he’s to be my caretaker here, since it seems Wolf isn’t here with me.” Which was odd on its own, but if Ciel was here, then surely there would be more familiar faces around the city. She just hadn’t run into them yet. “He helps me get around. He’s quite reliable too, since he knows this city well.” And yet, she didn’t even once stop to think how strange it was for her to be riding on his back.
