Happy International Youth Day!
Celebrating World Breastfeeding Week at GS Medical College & Hospital! 🌸🤱
From 1st to 7th August, our Department of Pediatrics proudly hosted awareness sessions, informative skits, and community outreach programs emphasizing that "Maa ka doodh – shishu ka pehla prakritik tika" (Mother's milk is a child's first natural vaccine). Together, we are committed to building supportive systems for a healthier future.
Some victories shape history. Others shape a nation's spirit.
On Kargil Vijay Diwas, GS University pays tribute to the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination of the brave soldiers who defended our nation against all odds.
Their legacy reminds us that freedom is earned through selfless service and protected by unmatched bravery.
Small habits create lasting wellness.
Self-care isn't a luxury—it's a daily commitment. Prioritize healthy eating, regular exercise, self-awareness, and preventive care to build a healthier future.
Listen to your body. Early signs matter.
Persistent dry eyes, dry mouth, or unexplained fatigue could indicate Sjögren's syndrome. Early awareness and timely medical care can help improve quality of life.
Healthy thoughts begin with a healthy brain.
Your brain powers every thought, memory, and decision. Nourish it with a balanced diet, regular exercise, quality sleep, and an active lifestyle to keep it healthy for years to come.
The Department of Nursing successfully conducted the Nutrition Practical for GNM and B.Sc. Nursing students (Batch 2025–2026). Students actively participated in the preparation of balanced and therapeutic diets, menu planning, and nutritional assessment activities. The practical enhanced their understanding of nutrition principles, food hygiene, and dietary management, helping them develop essential skills for providing quality nutritional care in clinical practice.
Muharram is a time for reflection, compassion, and spiritual renewal. It reminds us of the values of sacrifice, resilience, and humanity that continue to inspire generations.
May this sacred occasion bring peace, strength, and harmony to all.
Our 1st-year medical students brought their A-game to the ultimate clash of brains—the Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry Quiz! From lightning-fast buzzer rounds to nailing complex pathways and structures, these future healers left us absolutely amazed.
A huge congratulations to the winners and a big shoutout to the organizing departments for putting together such an energetic and educational event! 🏅🩺

Turn family time into fitness time—and invest in a healthier future together.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream—not to work.
On International Day Against Child Labour, let us reaffirm our commitment to protecting childhood, promoting education, and creating a future where every child has the chance to reach their full potential.
At GS University, we believe that empowering children through education and care is the foundation of a stronger tomorrow.
Because every child deserves hope, dignity, and a brighter future.
