anyway i still cant get over the what the physical sensations of g/t must be like... like imagine holding something so small and being able to feel their racing heartbeat, or feel their tiny fingers against yours or feel them fidget when they talked. Imagine them using you as support, or shifting their weight as they run across your back, or giving your face a hug and each hand not even reaching ear to ear. Imagine giving shoulder rides, and feeling them tugging on your hair/ear/jewelry to stay put, or the death grip they'd probably have holding onto your thumb/fingers the first time that they get picked up.

but on the other hand imagine being small enough to just be picked up like it was nothing, feeling weightless as the ground disappears below you. imagine wrestling with their hand, fighting the deadly digits with every ounce of your strength, and still being pinned to the surface below in defeat. Imagine feeling the wind of every massive breath, and feeling the slow expansion and contraction of lungs so much bigger than yours. imagine a comforting weight bearing down on you every night, and knowing that it was the palm of a hand there to protect you. not to mention the warmth that would radiate from such a massive being, i mean who needs blankets anymore am i right??

in conclusion: i like imagining g/t stuff and i am touch starved

writing this down here because I cant keep procrastinating on my final essays: g/t story where the giant only exists in someones dream. (like im sure many of us have experienced haha), I wanna write something that feels really true to the reality of always yearning for g/t. Basically like someone going about their day to day, but getting to look forward to dreaming to meet their elusive giant. As time goes on they learn to lucid dream or use strategies to recognize when they're dreaming to have a better memory of the experience oughhhh. Like it'll be so bittersweet...need to write that and also the camilla piece i was doing and also a great fairy idea i had

ideal size

Something with g/t I've always been so fascinated by is what causes people to like specific sizes! For me, I'm a tiny at heart. My ideal size has always been 3-5 Inches (palm sized). For me, one of the biggest reasons why I find it to be so perfect is the idea that I could fit in a palm with room to spare. Something about a giant's hand being the perfect size to fit me, almost like a big queen sized bed sounds so perfect to me. I also find the notion that they could curl their fingers around me and just completely enclose me in their hand (SAFELY AND LOVINGLY!!!) to be so reassuring and comforting. At that size too, kisses would envelop my entire head and some of my torso and just OUGHHHH I love smooches. It's like the perfect size to be really tiny, but to still be very visible and present. Like, hands are obviously a really "big" thing in g/t but also just like at that size giants are big enough to the point where they are just so utterly "big" and protecting. At that size (and admittedly most sizes to a certain point), there arise so many opportunities for parts of their bodies or ways of affection to be so greatly emphasized. Like sleeping in the little dip between the shoulder and neck, or being cradled in their hand so close to their face as they look at you and you can feel the warmth radiating off them ough.,.. i could go on!!! I also like the notion of being just under a foot tall, that way it's easier to cuddle and be carried, etc. But palm size is my absolute dream height. With that being said, what are the reasons behind your guys ideal sizes?? I'm genuinely so curious and so interested. Especially for giants!

Sexy stuff is all well and good but,

I also really, really love the concept of a g/t couple that’s been together so long that they’re very comfortable with each other and can interact casually with each other’s bodies without it necessarily having to turn sexual.

I feel like this is already a bit of a given for the giant interacting with a tiny as compared to a same-size person. Like you can’t easily avoid your hand being on someone’s butt if they’re sitting on you’re palm. Or you can hold a tiny in a loose fist and your fingers may technically be on their crotch/chest/bum, but it’s a bit unavoidable

But I think it’s particularly great with the tiny acclimating to the giant’s big bod.

Like, sleeping on the giant’s neck in the morning, and then the giant sits up after the alarm and the tiny slides or tumbles down into their sports bra. And they just sleepily readjust and snuggle back up between the breasts and sleep in for the morning in the cushy pillow room of that bra while the giant pulls on a shirt over them and heads out for the day.

Or maybe the tiny’s chilling in the cup holder of the car, but the giant’s getting food in the drive through and has a bunch of junk on the passenger seat. They’re scrambling to move stuff before they get to the food window so they can find somewhere to put everything, so they make room for where their drink and ice-cream will go by moving the tiny and plopping them on their own seat between their legs. Then they realize they have to hide them from the drive-thru worker, so they gently squeeze their thighs together around the tiny to conceal them as they pay and take their food. They drive away, relaxing their legs out again and the tiny just sits back against their crotch casually and asks for a fry, unbothered by the sudden movement and concealment. They’re very used to the necessity of it and know that their giant is respectful of them.

The giant accidentally sits down on the tiny’s laundry on the bed and the tiny shoves at the giant’s butt and is like, “Move it, you gullible Gulliver!” And the giant’s like, “What? You said you needed your fancy shirts Pressed anyway ;D”

Giant wakes up and realizes they accidentally drooled on the tiny in their sleep. “OMG I’m so sorry! >///A///<” and the tiny just shrugs “It’s not like I haven’t been covered in your saliva before”

talking more g/t tropes I love!

I think one that I always come back to initially is the whole notion of scared/overwhelmed tiny seeing that the giant means no harm and then slowly trusting them enough to be in their presence. I love this especially for first encounters and worlds where size differences aren’t normally established because the giant comes to learn how to carry themselves based on the way the tiny reacts. The force of them even just crouching down or reaching out an open palm can seem absolutely terrifying to the tiny, so they need to be so so so conscious and careful.

NUZZLING IS SO FUCKING PEAK. I love the idea of normal means of physical affection being greatly emphasized/intensified in g/t, a hug becomes an all enveloping embrace for a tiny, a kiss is a full body experience, and nuzzling is just especially good. A tiny nuzzling into a giants finger or thumb while they sleep, or a giant nuzzling their nose or cheek on the tiny’s head, AUGH it’s just such a sweet gesture and I love it so much.

Maybe a little less of a trope and more of a story dynamic? IDK, but Pockets! Pockets are awesome! It’s a classic thing but the whole idea of the giant going about their with a tiny in their pocket, and the knowledge they’re there brings them ease and peace of mind. I also just like the whole bit of a giant gently petting them with their finger when they feel like it. On the tiny end I love that pockets are another thing that reinforces the way the giant can provide an all-encompassing comfort and safety to the tiny. I always imagine the feeling of being in a “nice” pocket to be like a deep, dark hammock thats warmed by the giants body heat, and gently rocks with the movement of their body. It’s just one of those things that really emphasizes how different things are between the giant and the tiny and it lends itself to so much comfort and fluff. Love.
