i highkey never use tumblr but once i saw that GIGGS got some of their character art from some users on tumblr i decided it was time to learn how this thing works

but hi yes hello there i'm guilded haruu. just call me haru please lol. i'm 21 and a college student on eastern standard time :)

i like dnd, hermitcraft, the life series, SOME anime like frieren or FMAB, and generally watching people play games i have no energy or motivation to play myself

OH YEAH also i RARELY do digital art. i much prefer traditional so most everything i upload is loosely scanned in and edited in lightroom and photoshop !!

hiiii yes hellooo there ..

i am so dead tired from school, work, and having a social life with social responsibilities. exhausting.

my friend asked if i could draw his dnd character, which is a snow leopard rogue. i said of course, but be warned that i have hardly ever drawn anthropomorphic characters before. but, surprisingly, it turned out well and i didn't lose my head while doing it. so huzzah for furry art, i guess?

the second is a proposed character that i hope to play with later this fall, an earth genasi barbarian. every time i play a new character, i try to play a race and class that i haven't tried before. i usually like my half caster front liners, (paladins are my babies), so going completely no casting will be interesting and hopefully enjoyable.

oh, and i drew these over a month ago. lol

HI YES HELLO THERE YET AGAIN!

these are more drawings from last month. i thankfully was NOT driving to the city while listening to the first few episodes of the Frostwind chapter, otherwise I'm sure I'd needed to pull over and collect myself if I was. no, instead i was sitting on my bed in my room drawing them in their cold weather outfits at midnight and had to clamp my hand over my mouth to muffle my scream during episode 35 so my parents didn't think i was getting murdered.

as i was so rudely interrupted by the insane events of the campaign, i had to quickly pivot to drawing gemma and hardwon reuniting. and after that i was less interested in drawing the band of boobs so i just kind of lazily finished them. i am proud of my beverly stand-alone drawing though. FORGIVE MY LACK OF PAWPAW I CANT DRAW OPOSSUMS

still alive..

life's been busy and i haven't drawn as much as i'd like to, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

i don't normally attempt to draw myself like this, but i decided if i was going to draw my friend (2nd drawing) i should try to see how well i can capture my own likeness. the difficulty with that is often times i'll look at myself in the mirror and not recognize myself, so it's both complicated because of skill and lack of recognition. i'm also an aphant, so i have no stored images of myself to pull from- i have to use a reference or pray i remember what i look like.

my friend (well, it's complicated. i'll still consider and call him my friend) was hanging out with my family while watching a broadcast this weekend, so i tried sneakily to draw him while he was on his phone. ('reclining' is the title- it's an inside joke about something my dad said once to us) the big drawing of him is a photo his mother took a few years ago that i found funny- she didn't tell him she was about to take a photo while he was eating a piece of cake. the proportions are a bit off, but i'm proud of how i drew his hand, so thus i'll upload it.

HI YES HELLO THERE DO YOU LIKE NADDPOD PERCHANCE?!

i personally LOVE naddpod. i'm only on episode 32, but in my defense i only started listening to it in december. i was driving home super late from a bachelorette party and had 45 minutes of driving on sketch backroads, so to stay alert i bought a redbull and put on a random podcast. in highschool i listened to DnDaddies and LOVED it, so i figured (not) another dnd podcast would do me well. and it certainly has! i commute to most of my obligations, so putting on NADDPOD while i drive helps me stay focused and make my drives a little more enjoyable.

anyway.

i love beverly x erlin stuff. i like to think that erlin is slightly taller than bev but bev is less scrawny. my older brothers were boy scouts so i know the green teens have a strict haircut requirement that bev follows to a tee, but since he's been travelling all over i doubt he's been able to get a haircut and definitely does not trust moonshine or hardwon to cut it for him, so his curly hair is quite a bit messier than erlin's.

the band of boobs sketch was far quicker and less detailed.

well i love this band of boobs. dare i say im a tad too attached to fictional characters.

not dead- i am just busy and i have not drawn anything of value recently lol.

anyway. please enjoy my rendition of mister wizard from GIGGS dnd! have i listened to the full first session? no. bold of you to assume i have the mental energy for that! but regardless. i had actually started this in mid february and inked part of it but got stuck on the patterns for his coat. i finally finished it tonight by vomiting said patterns everywhere.

the scanning of this was very lazy. bless my phone's camera app for doing the heavy lifting so i didn't have to open up photoshop or lightroom.

this sketch actually started out as fanart for NADDPOD, but i did that in a different sketchbook and it somehow turned into scar admiring grian from afar. dunno how we got here but oh well

i'm very new to this sort of ship style nonsense for scar and grian- i only discovered the life series last summer and from there began to engage with the community despite me being a hermitcraft fan since s7.

i also feel so spammy lol but i have a bunch of sketches i want to share for different things so here we are. like four posts in one day. i swear i have a life. i also keep needing to digitally sign my stuff because i didn't sign it physically. so it looks a lil funny

hi yes hello there do you perchance enjoy GIGGS dnd? WELL I DO TOO! i started this sketch while watching the session 0 VOD and finished it during part of the session 1 live stream- i took my inspo from both the fanart they chose for the stream and other artist's renditions of their characters here on tumblr!

i actually don't love this one, there are a lot of mistakes with both anatomy and line art and i was so lazy cleaning it up, but yk it doesn't hurt to put it out there

i also of course realized i didn't put my signature on it before scanning it in and editing it, so i had to bust out my dusty old wacom to add it in along with everyone's handles.
