I just lost many of my good brushes! I'm upset! this is more of an iterative approach to a character I have in mind. It's an android, and I'd like its skin to look like these old erasers we had in school that had a blue part that had the mystical power to erase ink, but would just smudge and ruin everything.

I painted Saint Sebastian bleeding rainbow blood for Pride month. That dude got up afterwards and forced them to club him to death. So keep doing what you're doing. Made using Clip Studio Paint.

It's been a super long, struggley while, but I have now modelled and rigged my Sleazy Fly Guy (see previous posts for concept art). Goody, Blender is so much fun to work with. Or absolutely infuriating. Idk those go hand in hand, really. I'll just do a simple breathing animation and move on to the next character!

Animated fan-art of a sequence from The Mage-Fire War fantasy book by L.E Modesitt Jr. It immediately brought vivid images to mind and for some reason my brain went "hey wouldn't it be fun and totally not stupid to commit to it?". Anyway it was my first time experimenting with impact frames and I'm quite happy with those silly horse faces actually!

Here's the finished 3d still scene. I know I said I would post WIPs, but with 3d the progress is so incremental that it's tempting to do, you know, just the next little thing. Here's another earlier WIP and the 2d version as a reminder and yeah, I know, I didn't quite capture it! Not there yet, but I still learned a lot. Also, here's the midi version of the song it illustrates, which I am in the middle of recording.
