All I will add is: WRITE THOSE BREAKFAST SCENES if you want to, they can be absolutely critical in getting a handle on your characters. Or even on the setting. Write them all to fuck. Go hogwild.

Then cut them. They're for you, and for the characters. Not the readers.

Hear me out:

Grammy and Gordon Specter die a week apart, and this leaves both of them vulnerable, constantly fighting,and slamming door on each other

Harvey says something stupid during one of the arguments, and that ends the relationship right then and there

They remain cordial at work, but it's still awkward as hell.Donna sensing the tension and comes up with a plan to get them back together by making them watch their favorite romantic movies separately in hopes that it would bring them back together

But she can't do it alone and recruits the help of Rachel and Louis.They decline at first, but donna uses blackmail and manipulation to her advantage, and they comply.

Rachel drags Mike to the theaters every Friday. Donna and Louis are on duty every Saturday (to avoid suspension)

Things are going well, Mike and harvey are talking again and can tolerant when the other is in the room, but thats short lived as a case takes its toll on both of them leaving them back at square one

But Donna isn't willing to give up and makes them met coincidentally at a screening of 10 things i hate about you, and that is when they have an epiphany and smooches kisses and more are shared and they live happily ever after without knowing that Donna was behind it all
