Refugees with an Ukranian passport or an ID card can now use all long-distance trains going from Poland to Germany for free.

There are currently up to eight Eurocity trains going from Poland to Germany per day from:

Warsaw

Gdansk

Przemyśl/Kraków

Vienna/Wroclaw

Extra trains are planned.

Refugees who arrive in Berlin, where many of these trains end, can go to the official refugee arrival center of the LAF to register and get infos. They also offer some initial accomodations for those who have not been able to organize them privately. The local Ukrainian community is also offering places to stay and organizing further help for arriving refugees.
