how do the hyungs normally handle a sick kookie~~
JK: Well … to be honest, they usually all panic haha
JK: Jimin hyung’s the one who panics the most though – he’s usually the first one to buy too much medicine, rolls me in a blanket burrito, and insists on taking my temperature every 30 minutes.
JK: Jin hyung is the one who always plans to cook up a storm and buys a ton of food from the grocery store. He’s also the one who bickers with the other members the most because some of them try to give me food that isn’t ‘Jin Approved’ by him. I’m pretty sure he cooks enough food to feed all of South Korea … when any one of us gets sick
JK: But since most of the other members are usually gone panicking at that point, Jin hyung sometimes has no choice but to ask Namjoon hyung for help as a last resort. However …
JK: The god of destruction usually makes winds up causing more trouble than help by creating some sort of explosion in the kitchen (causing trouble for both Jin hyung and himself) The ironic part is that sometimes Namjoon hyung just stands there and whatever is around him just automatically breaks– it’s a very special talent.
JK: Yoongi hyung usually goes out and buys a bunch of lamb skewers that he insist will help in a speedy recovery. (Jin hyung argues that it’s debatable) He also buys more medicine even though Jimin hyung already bought some – but Yoongi hyung insists that his is better. He’s also the one who makes sure that I get enough rest and shoos away the other members if they’re being too loud when I’m sleeping.
JK: Due to cooking fiascos, Namjoon hyung usually winds up going shopping twice. The second time is usually to replace the original purchase that got destroyed. He’s the one who brings me a bunch of cute toys and books to relax with – I have to admit, he has very good tastes in plushies, probably thanks to his Ryan and Brown collection
JK: V hyung is the one who keeps me entertained by bringing a bunch of movies, additional blankets, games and unhealthy snacks that he snuck past Jin hyung to keep me company! (We also usually turn the living room area into a blanket fort to watch movies in, so it’s never a dull time when he’s around)
JK: And Hobi Hyung is always nearby to spread the sunshine and laughter. He always does silly things (like doing dances or dressing up in funny clothes) to make me laugh and smile! (He also gives me a mini space heater, humidifier, and bunch of sunflowers as his ‘replacement’ for when he’s not around)
JK: I really owe a lot to my hyungs whenever I do get sick … but…
JK: Sometimes they don’t understand that the concept of me being ‘sick’ could just mean that I just have a very small cold… and they all wind up going overboard every. single. time.
