Hey ho!

Hey everybody! I thought I should probably do an introduction post, so here it is!

My profile name is Gunther Von Heaften, but you can call me Gunther, Slimebeak, Hammond, Morrowseer, or skekWrin. (All random names I have used for different accounts lol.)

I’m a big Osamu Tezuka and Jim Henson fan, but I also am into Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill, and recently got into Lord of the Rings, so I’ll probably dabble in drawings involving all of these things and more.

I draw a lot, but I suck at digital art, so you’re probably only gonna see the stuff I hand draw, my art style is a little weird too, so bear with me on that.

I write on occasion, so I might post some fan fics or other stuff hither and thither (probably fantasy related, as that is what I have been into lately).

Every single version of Beavis is hilarious, and I especially love getting to see more of Old Beavis and Smart Beavis in the revival show. I haven't seen Season 3 yet, since it isn't on Paramount +, so I've just been watching all the old episodes on Internet Archive lately. I'm going to do some drawings of Butt-Head next.

I recently read The Hobbit for the first time, I liked it a lot and decided to draw basically how I pictured Bilbo looking in my head when I was reading the book. I haven’t seen the movies or anything (besides the LoTR movies, but he’s old in those) so I have no idea what Bilbo actually looks like, but this is how I imagined him.

Ham Egg and Lamp Sketches

I love drawing Ham Egg and I draw him quite often, but I had actually only drawn Lamp one time before this, that said, he is also very fun to draw. I decided to draw Lamp with longer hair, which he has in certain Tezuka stories, I just think he looks better with longer hair lol. It’s been over two years since I have drawn frequently in Tezuka’s style, but this was a nice practice session, a little bit of prep before I draw my Tezuka comic. :)
