If Benson shared a bed with 2 partners, he couldn't sleep in the middle because he'd suffocate. Honestly, it would be a requirement that he sleep on the outside and boa constrict the person in the middle. Whoever was on the opposite side would basically be sleeping alone--unless they also tangled around the middle person. ...It would be a miracle of the middle person survived the night, tbh.

i'm so dead we love to imagine when benson and randy settle down after being on the run benson finds a job as a mechanic or some shit where he can wear a tank top and i think dats sexy even if we are never even shown in canon that he knows jack shit abt cars but i think him as a hot dog vendor is funny as fuuuckkkk and really good cause he can be his own boss and if someone gives him attitude about his hotdogs he can go home and tell randy that he didn't even kill anyone at work today because he has no coworkers and randy can say oh that's nice benson :^)

What helped me write trauma better is remembering that the nervous system learns predictions. If danger used to come after quiet, calm can feel threatening. If kindness used to come with a price, kindness can feel suspicious. So healing is not just “they know they’re safe now.” Healing is the slow, annoying, deeply unfair process of teaching the body that the old prediction is not always the present truth.

Benson keeps his room ice cold and sleeps under heavy blankets. It has to be quiet but not silent, so he keeps his window a/c unit going when he sleeps. If Randy (or other) stays the night, he wraps his whole body around them like a boa constrictor and keeps his head on their chest so their heartbeat can lull him to sleep.
