NICOLAS.
motions FROZEN as he witnessed an all to familiar face, an all too familiar voice calling his name, nicolas stood still, a neutral expression forced onto pale features. to say he hadn’t expected this was an understatement. & as blue eyes quietly eyed up the petite figure in front of him, MIXED emotions fought their way to the surface; one side reminding him of what she meant to him. of what he would’ve previously given for her —- questionably, still would. yet the other side was louder, triggering his built up anger ; which inevitably had turned out to be more of a confusion. why did she LEAVE? now, more importantly: why did she come back? if he had learnt one thing, it was that odette ivers didn’t seem like the person to look back. swallowing harshly, the male quietly nodded, his tone distant & perfunctory. ‘’ odette. is there something i can help you with? ‘’
Odette wasn’t fearing an explosive reaction ; nor was she expecting one. The thing the younger was afraid of was nothing short of APATHY. Nicolas had never been one for violence; for reacting in a way that would scare most. Not like her. Instead, he was her opposite. The warmth to her biting cold. So; when the male spoke, her heart dropped. “ You’re still mad. ” The brunette spoke with a nod, stoic expression taking ahold of olive features fabricated. “ I’m… I should go. ”
