My thoughts about the mexico/america wall...
I know some dear souls that are not citizens of our country, and their stories on getting here and living conditions back home will move anybody willing to listen. They do not come over to steal, kill, and destroy (well maybe some, any nationality can be crazy) but majority are just seeking a better life. I don’t blame them. They’re not stealing our jobs. Seems to me, american companies and organizations are willingly employing them, paying them under the table, selling them cars, renting them homes, and not requiring visas or green cards. It’s almost as if we are welcoming their stay even against the laws. Instead of building a wall (which they will just find a new way in), build work programs. Work with them and in return we’ll get the taxes and aid in the healthcare system our government so badly wants, making it fair and just for everyone. They whole “They can collect welfare my tax pay feeds into” reflects more on our government… How exactly is it slipping through our system of welfare that an illegal can collect in the first place? When did shunning people away become a part of America? This country was built with people searching for a better life, away for oppression and poverty, to be free people.
A country needs money to operate, obviously, so we should be looking for a solution that would benefit both sides… building a wall will not solve “the problem”.
