I've gone from 0 cats to 3 in a month lol. These were feral kittens I've been feeding. Finally was able to catch three. This is Pumpkin, Spooky and Omen. All BOYS! The reason the orange one Pumpkin is so much bigger is because I've had him for almost a month longer than his brothers. The indoors and steady food supply accelerates their growth like crazy. I love my babies 💖

Tonight's Beaver moon is all about warmth, preparation, and protection before winter settles in. I set intentions for peace, comfort, and safety not just for myself, but for the animals and land around me.

My offerings were cracked corn and cat food for my wild friends, and a small bowl of lake water to honor the spirit of the land that's become home.

I also crafted this spell jar to rest on my windowsill, a little cham to keep my wild friends safe, fed, and warm through the winter.

Inside is salt for protection, oats for nourishment, rosemary for strength and safety, chamomile for peace and comfort and cinnamon for warmth and vitality. Tiger's Eye adds courage and stead fast guardianship, while a goose feather carries Harold's spirit. I finished it with a few drops of lake water to honor the land and all the creatures who call it home.

Sealed with green wax under the Beaver Moon, this little jar is full of blessings, a promise of care for every being that crosses my path, from Sulis and her kittens to Marshmallow the possum and all who share the night 🌿🪿🐈🐾🌕✨

Meet our new baby, Pumpkin! 🎃

About an hour after finishing my Samhain ritual, I started hearing nonstop meowing outside my bedroom window. I looked everywhere but couldn’t find the source. I’ve been feeding the mother cat, Sulis, since we moved in. Later that night, I saw her on my camera. She came back briefly for her kitten… but after a few minutes she left again.

The meowing continued all day I knew this poor baby had to be scared and hungry. I took Eevee outside, and she led me straight to her. My boyfriend warned me she might be wild and defensive since she’s feral but within a few hours, she was curled up on my chest, purring like she’d always belonged there.

I decided to name her Pumpkin Spice, since I first found her on Halloween night. 🎃🧡 I think she's 6-7 weeks old. After reading a bit, it seems Sulis may have left her baby here knowing she’d be safe and honestly, it feels like no coincidence she appeared right after my Samhain ritual.

This little soul was definitely sent by the universe ✨

I wrote down my needs and wishes for the year ahead and released them into the fire, along with herbal offerings. Rosemary for remembrance, chamomile for peace, and calendula for healing. As the flames rose, I felt the energy shift, carrying my intentions to the other side.

Pagans once lit great bonfires on Samhain night to guide wandering spirits home. I honored that ancient tradition, letting the fire’s warmth become both a beacon and a blessing.

I also pulled cards for an ancestral tarot reading, seeking wisdom and guidance from beyond the veil. The messages were powerful, reminding me that endings are simply new beginnings in disguise. 🌙

Let me set the scene for you. The year was 2012. I used to live in this trailer rented by an addict. It was her, her kids, her boyfriend (who was nicknamed Big Dummy lol), my dealer (Rip Pops) and his wife all living there. I paid one stamp bag a day in rent for my ex and I to sleep on the couch during the day while I worked at the strip club at night. People out my way called it the trap trailer. People would stop by all day and night to meet my dealer. My boyfriend would show up and according to him see me passed out on the couch with my mouth wide open and knew he wanted me 💀 But the day he heard me losing my mind screaming at my ex and everyone in the trailer because I wanted to watch Pretty Little Liars he fell in love. We talked a few times but back then I was with my ex.

By 2019 he was dating a girl I was working with who stole my wallet and had me do a duo with her blood cousin without telling me he was a her cousin. Yes that actually happened and she's been dating my ex from the trailer for 5 years now. So our ex's are together which is weird I know. Still using and miserable of course. So we were reacquainted briefly.

For years he messaged me on Facebook but I mostly ignored him like I do every man who messages me. I wasn't planning on ever dating again after my son's dad passed away. But then last year he charmed me with his love of house of the dragon. We decided to hang out and fell in love. He has almost 3 years clean today.

Yes he knows what I do. He's known since I worked with his ex. Does he like it? No of course not but he accepts me for me and loves me regardless.
