in which a simple girl who’s completely in love with performing meets a boy who’s completely in love with her.
the hatless boy exhaled, bringing the lit cigarette to his lips once more before dropping it carelessly to the ground and stomping on it.
wonjae glanced at the two restless boys, muttering an “ill be back.” he proceeded to walk a bit of a distance away, holding the phone up to his ear.
wonjae gulped. “yes, hyung?” there was no way he could know about the disappearance of y/n or the reason behind it.
“where are you?” the hatless boy furrowed his brows, confused.
his silence drew a sigh from the man on he other line. “wonjae-ah, your mind has been everywhere, huh?”
wonjae knew where he was getting at.
“n-no, hyung. i just .. haven’t had much sleep.” he lied.
kiseok hummed questioningly, making wonjae wonder if his lie was actually believable.
“okay then. i guess you’ll have to come tomorrow instead.”
wonjae sighed quietly in relief. “hyung, what was i exactly .. needed for?”
his boss tsked. “weren’t you the one who asked for my help at the studio?”
the artist widened his eyes in realization. “o-oh yeah! um sorry for forgetting, hyung.”
kiseok chuckled lightly, his serious side gone. “just get some sleep, wonjae. i’ll be expecting you tomorrow at the same time.”
“yes, hy-“ before wonjae could finish his sentence, kiseok hung up.
