I get the saturation band in the shadow for the hand but how do you get the desaturated grey blue here? Is it bg bounce light or just a stylistic choice? Absolutely adore this drawing btw 🙈

I did this on procreate so here's a clip of the speedpaint! But you're essentially right, it's just a bounce light (I literally just eyedropped the bg and painted an airbrush layer over places I wanted to have bounce light)
