That awkward moment when Hugh Jackman remembers he taught you at school [x]
I would die for Hugh Jackman
Despite what Nicholas Sparks tells you, you’re not supposed to be madly in love at 25. You’re not supposed to have found that “perfect love” before you have a checking account. Love is messy, complicated and many times impossible to find. It’s something that people spend their entire lives looking for and don’t find until they have stopped worrying about it and started pursuing the love of other things. Your twenties aren’t about finding a man to love you, but finding something to love. Focus on your career, your hobbies, your passions. Start to love yourself before you can think about finding the love of someone else. Because your twenties are about loving yourself and your thirties are about spreading that love.
Lauren Martin, Why 20-Something Women Need To Stop Thinking Like 30-Something Women (via thelittleyellowdiary)
"Motivation for Harvard Students" or all students basically
1. If you fall asleep now, you will dream. If you study now, you will live your dream. 2. When you think it’s too late, the truth is, it’s still early. 3. The pain of studying is only temporary. But the pain of not knowing—ignorance—is forever. 4. Studying is not about time. It’s about effort. 5. Life is not all about studying. But if you can’t even conquer this little part of life, then what else can you possibly do? 6. Enjoy the inexorable pain. 7. It’s those who are earlier than the others, those who put in more effort, who can enjoy the feelings of success. 8. Not everyone can truely succeed in everything. But success only comes with self-management and determination. 9. Time is flying. 10. The saliva that flow now will become the tears of tomorrow. 11. Dogs are learning, ambassadors are playing. 12. If you don’t walk today, you’ll have to run tomorrow. 13. People who invest in the future are realists. 14. The level of education is in direct correlation with your salary. 15. When today is over, it will never come back. …

Maybe sometimes, we are the ones breaking our own hearts. We walk into a situation, get attached to someone all by choice. And then we let them break our hearts, because we’re the ones who gave them the opportunity to.
tuesday night thoughts (via nakedly)
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
Tom Bodett (via psych-facts)
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’ You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
Eleanor Roosevelt, You Learn by Living: Eleven Keys for a More Fulfilling Life (via psych-facts)
Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.
Og Mandino (via psych-facts)
There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it.
Judith McNaught, Remember When (via psych-facts)
Anxiety is not rude. Depression is not selfish. Schizophrenia is not wrong. Eating disorders are not a choice. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is not crazy. Mental illness isn’t self-centred, anymore than cancer is self-centred. It’s a medical illness.

The most reliable way to predict the future is to create it.

I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO GET NICE TATTOOS AND TRAVEL AND GO TO LOADS OF CONCERTS AND MEET NEW PEOPLE AND VISIT AMAZING PLACES AND COZY COFFEE SHOPS AND ADOPT CUTE PUPPIES AND SLEEP IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK WITH A PLETHORA OF BLANKETS AND STAR GAZE AND TAKE PICTURES OF NICE THINGS AND JUST NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING
“I want to get more comfortable being uncomfortable. I want to get more confident being uncertain. I don’t want to shrink back just because something isn’t easy. I want to push back, and make more room in the area between I can’t and I can.”
Kristin Armstrong (via psych-facts)
