Everyone deserves your concideration.)
Reminder by the way! One of the best ways you can help the Congo even if you can't donate is boycotting!
Only buy secondhand electronics! Do not support any of the companies contributing to the horrible cobalt mining practicing in DR Congo! More information here!
I want more people to know that while the Palestine Olympic team consists of only 8 athletes, at least 69 Palestinian Olympic athletes have been killed since October 2023. This includes athletes who were going to compete in these games and retired athletes such as Majed Abu Maraheel, the first Palestinian Olympian, who died of kidney failure in a refugee camp product of lack of medical treatment.
Remember them during these games.

Do you know anything i can donate to for palestine that's not the gofundmes because the idea of having to choose who needs my money more is just. scary to me they all need it 3: maybe there's a thing that splits/distributes money evenly???? idk but help would be appreciated
Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.
There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.
Hey there, I feel like this is a necessary post because we have some Brazilian girlies here.
The southern state of Brazil, my state, is literally underwater right now, thousands of people lost their homes, some died and some are missing due to heavy flooding. If you're in one of the affected areas, please be careful, pay attention to the news as some emergency numbers aren't working anymore, they're sharing new ones. Seek safe shelter, either with family members or the public ones. There's also a risk of dam failure, the Civil Defense is constantly updating on those, be aware to know when you have to evacuate the area. If you can help with donations or even sharing the news to get to more people, you're more than welcome. I'll leave some links showing how to help. Please be safe, it's a disaster out there! And no matter what your personal belief is, please pray for those people.

Quick update- The meteorologists said that the rain will continue until Monday. And the situation can and will probably get worse, I am safe but my city is under alert as the river that surrounds it is above normal levels. I'll be safe but I'm still worried about my family. They're safe for now as well.
Last year, around September we had a very similar event but the impact of this one is way bigger and more devastating than last year. Small and big businesses are doing everything they can, the images are heartbreaking to see. Thank you for sharing the word, even inside Brazil people have no idea of what is happening and the only media sources are local media, as the rest of the country is busy with Madonna's concert.
Another one- According to the news, around 200s of 400s county's in the state are affected by the rain, the firefighters keep rescuing people and the number of deaths increased. The donations had to stop in some places because of the water, so things wouldn't get damaged, but many other places keep doing it. Many roads are destroyed and some places are completely isolated. They're working nonstop to rescue everyone, and the water will have to go down naturally so they start rebuilding cities, hospitals and houses.
The floods in my city are almost just as bad as the big flood of 1941. For now things are "okayish" here. Some of the dams that were under alert are safe now. Thank you all for the rebblogs and everything, if this post helped at least someone, it's all worth it.

"photograph of a young palestinian girl flying her kite on al-waha beach, gaza, 2011. on this day, 6,200 palestinian children filled the gaza sky with kites, achieving the guinness world record for most kites flown simultaneously. the culture of kite flying amongst gaza youth remains a symbol of resilience, creativity, and joy. over the past 7 weeks, the amount of children killed by the israeli state has nearly surpassed this number, continuing to rise each day. we must continue calling for a permanent ceasefire now. the devastation must end" — via @azeemamag on instagram
