Meghan hadn't gotten to use her magic for anything fun in a while. Maybe that was why she was pushing Hailie. Or maybe she just wanted an excuse to be a bitch. It had been too long since she had practiced on someone else. Before she had come back to Havensdale, she had used her magic on many vampires, werewolves, and shifters. Testing out the best way to fight and how to use her magic for fighting.
Even if she wasn't looking out for Hailie's attack, the girl had wound it up too much. Especially her calling out the attack. Before Hailie could land one of her claws on Meghan's hand was up. Pushing Hailie back through several shelves stopping before she went through the window.
"God, you animals are so dumb." Meghan laughed, walking through the destroyed shelves. "You don't attack a warlock unless you can win. And you can't fucking kill me. But I can kill you."
Hailie should have seen it coming but everything was overshadowed by her rage. She was so goddamn angry at Meghan, she could feel it poisoning her insides. She was so furious at how hopeless she was, that she screamed. Hailie didn't care about getting thrown through the store, hitting into every shelf on the way the back wall. She could take a hit. What she couldn't take was the sound of Meghan Morrison laughing at her. After everything she'd done, she was laughing. Hailie's life was left in ruins and she was fucking laughing!
She knew it wasn't smart, that Meghan could kill her... and maybe Hailie didn't care. At least, if she could take a few good chunks out of her on the way out. She snarled in response, teeth sharper, and sensed fully heightened and focused on her. If she could just get one good swipe, she could knock that shit eating grin off her face for good. It would be worth it.
Hailie didn't bother responding, instead she rolled back to her feet and made to pounce at her again. @d-exterharrison
