And I love how you constantly ask questions and completely disregard my every answer.

And every time I don’t say what you want me to like I’m on a script, you turn it into a time to malign me and accuse me of doing everything out of malice.  It’s not like I tell myself I’m nothing but a malicious mess of capriciousness, claws and emptiness every day.  It’s not like you’re surprising me, or making me feel suddenly inspired to change--you’re just showing me you expect the same things I already feel.  I have to wonder if you taught me that.

I definitely don’t like that even when I follow the script you wrote a week ago that I was shamed for and advised to follow in the future, you’ve rewritten everything, and suddenly I’m inappropriate, hateful, scornful and exist only to drain everyone and have no heart.

And in some regards, you’re right.  Self-loathing aside, I haven’t had a single tender thought for you in three years. I don’t have stockholm syndrome, it turns out.
