There are several great master posts going around that sum up different ways to participate in Project No Control: x / x / x / x / x 

For my own purposes (aka I’m hella Type A), I’m making another list to highlight the main initiatives.

1. Sign up for the Thunderclap! Thunderclap will send out mass tweets about No Control on No Control Day (May 17th). This will help set Twitter trends.

2. TWEET YOUR FACE OFF. Use the format below because “This contains all the elements needed to be caught in the Billboard Trending Charts, and also has the bonus benefit of counting toward the regular charts, too, if people actually follow the Spotify link and give a listen.” x

3. Shazam No Control. As thelarryagenda explained, “Shazam is an app for smart phones, PC’s and Macs that identifies a song playing. Open the app, hold the phone up to the speaker and the app will identify the song and artist. Apparently, Shazam will support Project No Control. Also, once it identifies the song and artist it will post your support on your Tumblr account.”

4. Listen to No Control on Spotify! REPEAT DAT SHIT. ALL DAY. Instructions for Spotify listed here. 

5. Listen to No Control on YouTube/VEVO. REPEAT DIS SHIT TOO. ALL DAY. 

6. Vote for No Control as Billboard Song of the Summer. (You will have to enter it manually under “other”).

7. Request No Control on the American Top 40 With Ryan Seacrest. (There is only one submission form allowed per IP address so SPREAD THE WORD). This would be HUGE HUGE HUGE.

8. Buy No Control on iTunes on May 17th. diggingandfluff has put together an amazing initiative: she is setting up sponsors who are willing to buy extra copies of No Control for those who may not have the means to buy it right now. Get in contact with her if you would like to be gifted a copy, or help out as a sponsor.

9. Sunday, May 17th is the “release date” of No Control. GO CRAZY: TWEET, BUY, SHARE, TREND, SCREAM, CRY. Everything. All day.
