This is so beautiful. One thing that is amazing to note, is that although “Afuw” encompasses Forgiveness, its closer meaning is “Pardoning”. It literally means to pass over, to absolve, to completely have your sins erased with no trace, as if it never happened. “Afuw is an image of the wind blowing across the desert’s vastness and completely erasing all the tracks in the sand. It is as if no one had ever walked there”
