Please post marriage advices for women.- Sincerely, a sister.
Understand that Allah created men and women very differently! Learn what these differences are and don’t just jump to the conclusion that these differences make you and your spouse “incompatible.”
Learn the nature/fitrah of each gender. Too many couples quit too soon, believing that something is “wrong” with their spouse, before taking the time to learn and realize that these differences are actually normal and can work efficiently with the effort to understand one another.
O Allaah! Grant us firmness upon the Sunnah and good closing deeds! O Allaah! Make us firm upon what you are pleased with until we meet you while you are pleased with us!
They used to comfort each other upon facing calamities by saying : ”It is but a few days and Jannah is the promise …”
may Allah allow us to reach the blessed month of Ramadan آمين
Your Lord just waits for you to return to Him.
ربك فقط ينتظر منك أن تعود إليه
لو دخلت إلى روحي و رأيت الأوراق، لذُهِلت كم خريفاً مرّ وأنا واقفٌ كالأشجار.
— علي عكور
If I got into my soul and saw the leaves, I would be amazed at how many autumns had passed while I stood like trees.
“Approach this upcoming night [the 29th] with determination and enthusiasm, for it is the last of the odd nights out of the last ten nights, and make your best effort.
There are two potential outcomes: Either
a) you catch Laylah al-Qadr, or b) you will increase your good deeds in the last part of the month.”
Sheikh Salih al-‘Usaymi
“The Prophet ﷺ used to strive hard (in worship) in the last ten nights of Ramadan as he never did at any other time.”
— Aishah رضي الله عنها| Ibn Majah 1767
Don’t leave ramadhan in the same state that you entered it, and to be better requires discipline and effort.
Renew your intentions and increase your actions of worship in private - this will إن شاء الله place sincerity in your actions. Keep your good deeds between you and Allah, as ultimately every act of ibaadah is solely for His pleasure and to gain His mercy.
We’ve reached the last 10 days الحمد لله. Have you made effort to remove worldly distractions?
“The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to engage himself in I'tikaf (seclusion for prayers) in the mosque during the last ten nights of Ramadan till he passed away; thereafter, his wives followed this practice after him.”
— Riyad as-Salihin, The Book of I'tikaf, Book 10, Hadith 1269
