~Visit a Local Corn Maze~
A thread that takes place in a corn maze can be lots of fun! You can have muses who know each other going through it together, or you can have two muses meet in the maze (one or both of them possibly lost?) and they decide to pair up to get out? These mazes are also fun because they often offer tasty, festive food and hayrides! Some of them are also open after sundown, for a little bit of a spookier vibe.
~Pumpkin Carving/Decorating~
Whether Muse A and B are roommates who want to do some decorating for a party or strangers taking a carving class together, this can be fun for all kinds of interactions! Looking for somethings with a little more humor? Maybe your muses have been wrangled into carving for some other reason and they both have their own ideas about the best way to do things?
~Bonfire/Campfire~
Whether your muses are hanging out in their backyard, going to a bonfire on the beach, or intentionally trying to scare each other by having their bonfire deep in the forest, you’ve got some fun options. Looking for a first meeting? Maybe a backyard bonfire gets a little out of control? Or maybe Muse A spots Muse B’s bonfire and decides to ‘crash’ the party? Or is worried about the fire? Or stops by for an entirely different reason?

Just like with the pumpkin carving, you’ve got a lot of fun options behind the how and why of the situation surrounding the candy apple creating. It doesn’t have to be two muses who already know each other. Plus! You get to do some research for some fun candy apple recipes!
~Shopping for Costumes~
Again - this one can be fun whether your muses know each other or not. Shopping for a ‘couples costume’ and not being able to agree on who/what to be. Or shopping individually and needing someone’s advice on how it looks? Muse A bailing on their party when Muse B invites them to go as a ‘couple’ to theirs because they don’t want to go alone? And this isn’t shopping, but how about Muse A and Muse B showing up to a party as the ‘other half’ each other’s costumes? (Bacon and eggs, for a silly example) And for the rest of the night people assume they’re together when they don’t even know each other.
~Spooky Movie Marathon~
Plonk your muses down and have them enjoy some classic (sometimes campy) Halloween movies - Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Casper, Addams Family, etc. They don’t know each other? No problem! Have them chaperoning a children’s event or babysitting their friends’ kids. "You’re babysitting?! I thought I was!“ "Well, since you’re here you want to stay and watch with us?”

How many pumpkin spice foods can your muses find?! How many of them are they actually willing to try eating? This one might be harder for two muses meeting for the first time, but maybe they’ve been thrown together as part of a party scavenger hunt - they were both invited by a mutual friend?

Scott sighed and shook his head. “We’re here because I needed help and I can’t exactly ask your brother to help me. Besides I needed a werewolf’s help, so Stiles is out of the question.” He explained quietly. “Plus, I don’t know any other badass werewolves who are more than capable of handling themselves.” He said with a small grin.
Cora looks at him with her eyebrows raised. Well it is true, but she never thought she'd hear that coming from Scott. "Fine. But you owe me big time." She hopes she doesn't end up regretting agreeing to help him.

Alright, so Cora wasn’t the most friendly of her multiversal doppelgangers, but Dixie could forgive that, given the weirdness. “So… what makes you special, since I refuse to believe I have boring counterparts out there. Oh, full disclosure,” she pointed to herself, “secret crime-fighting vigilante.” Not like that secret mattered in a new universe.
"I'm a werewolf." It's completely nonchalant. "Half of my family were werewolves, the other half were human. But most of my family is dead thanks to a fire." She's just telling her the truth.

Cora hasn’t been able to sleep without having nightmares, so she quietly comes into Derek’s bedroom and lays down next to him, curling up to her big brother and laying her head on his chest, instantly falling asleep.
Derek is sound asleep and only stirred when he felt a sudden weight on his chest. He opened his eyes slowly, seeing that Cora was out and resting on top of him. His fingertips brushed down her back lightly. This reminded him of when they were younger and when she had nightmares. “Night Cora.” He whispered softly.
Cora's only response to that was to curl into him more. She felt safe with him, always has and always will. The brunette is sleeping peacefully now, her heartbeat and breathing normally. She'll make him breakfast or lunch the following day.

“Why would I be happy to speak to the ghost of my dead sister?” Cora had been hallucinating seeing Laura, had nightmares about what happened. She didn’t tell Derek, he had enough to worry about. “You left and never said goodbye that day. You’re just appearing to me now to make up for your ghostly self not telling me goodbye. Trying to make me think you’re alive when you’re not. I just came back from your grave, don’t you dare yell at me or patronize me. I already got enough of that from mom.”
Laura doesn’t know what resurrected her. Perhaps it was the Nemeton. She only remembers a strong pull and her mother’s words to restore what had been broken. Laura reaches out for her sister. “I didn’t say goodbye because I thought I would see you again.” There were many regrets that the wolf had. “I am here, Cora. Touch. Listen to my heart beat. I don’t know what brought me back but I am here.”
Cora hesitantly walks over and touches her. No, this can't be real. She touches all over and then looks at her hand, dirt on it. The younger wolf looks up at the older wolf and is trying to hold back tears. "Y-you're alive." She's shocked, sad, angry, and yet happy to have her sister back. Cora ends up hugging her and not letting go, hiding her tear stained face against her older sister's shirt.

Her heart hurt at those words. What child would think that their mother had favorites? Melissa didn’t know much of the Hales before the fire what Talia was like. But she refused to believe that she didn’t love Cora. The mother puts a hand on Cora’s shoulder with a serious look. “Listen to me, I have no doubt that she loved you just as much as your siblings.”

"I doubt it. She breasted me, came to some of my soccer games, and when Laura started middle school she started training her to be the Alpha. Derek was loved by her even more. I had nobody's love except for Derek and Laura."
