Time to watch Part 2 of the Summer House reunion on Peacock.
"There are a lot of racial dynamics that happen in this group".
Such an important discussion to have, and yet Andy still doesn't have the range to facilitate it lol
Confident enough in the conversations that you've had with West in private that he won't treat you the same way he treated Ciara or the other women he's been with, but unable to expand on why you're confident. Okay girl, okay lmao.
"Some of these conversations are private & I don't feel comfortable sharing them right now" - okay, so you're unable to explain how West affirmed that entering a relationship with him would be different from past relationships w/o revealing the explicit details of the conversation?
Cause I understand the mindset of - what we talked about isn't their business - okay, I won't fight you on that. BUT, you can't even explain how you got to the point where you're comfortable not only dating this man but also ruining these friendships to be with him???
Amanda: "I felt embarrassed to say I have feelings & kissed West and he's seeing someone else."
Mia: "Well, yeah, it's embarrassing."
Mia said when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes lmaooo
"I dIdN'T kNoW iF tHe qUEstIoNs wErE gOnNa cOmE bAcK tO mE"
If the person I care about (and I'm not saying "partner" because it could even be a close friend) is overwhelmed to the point of crying and needing to leave the stage....I'm getting my arse up and going after them. IMMEDIATELY. I wouldn't give a flying FVCK about a question or what ppl thought about me.
But that's just me lmao
Kyle is clearly still operating from a place of love and empathy for Amanda; the issue is that most others are not lol
So while it's sweet that he's trying to keep wants to protect her and have other ppl treat her with kid gloves, the reality is that Amanda is a grown arse woman. As Ciara said before, she wasn't married to Amanda, and since Amanda showed her no loyalty, she's not owed any either.
Amanda has been in the Bravosphere for 10 years now. She knows how reunions work. If she can't handle the heat, she should have kept out of the damn kitchen.
Mind you, during the S8 reunion, Lindsay had Kyle and several others coming at her in Carl's defense, and she was pregnant. I don't care that she was keeping it hidden; she still held her own the entire time.
"Just so you can tell me that we both fvckin left & b!tch about that."
WHY IS THAT WHERE YOUR CONCERN LIES????
Three women suggest you go after your girlfriend, but it isn't until you hear her soon-to-be ex-husband recommend it that you decide to stand up and check on her. Mind you, he sighed like he was being forced to do it.
It's bad enough that he didn't go after her immediately. But now the man also has excuses. He's having to be told multiple times to go check on her.
And I'm supposed to believe that West is going to treat her differently? I'm supposed to take this relationship seriously?
Her estranged husband has her back more than her boyfriend right now, but we're supposed to think that West is serious about this relationship with her.
"I didn't almost get up to go after her, I'm not going to lie." Mia remains a MOOOOOOOOD
"Her comments cut really fvckin deep." - Okay, well, Amanda, how deep do you think the cut was when you betrayed Ciara's years of friendship and loyalty to date West Wilson of all ppl?????
"Well, she's historically had low self-esteem, I didn't lie." - MY GAWD, CIARA
I'm cryinggggggg. Jesse basically said, "Did Amanda ask you to put on your cape & ride so hard for her, or are you doing it for the love of the game?"
Jesse is like the rest of us. He wants Kyle to stop trying to gently reprimand Ciara for tearing that girl apart.
Meija should have been flown in for this reunion. It sounds like he played in her face too, & she should be on that stage to expose him.
This is also my issue with Andy. He has favorites, and it's always so obvious. He said Amanda was gone for around 20 minutes. He would only let that fly with certain Bravo ppl.
I like Dara. I adore KJ. I don't think I like them so much together tho.
Dara is preaching to the choir, but we already knew this about West. Hell, Amanda already knows this about West. But she doesn't care & she doesn't want to hear it.
Dara's advice is going in one ear and out the other with Amanda bc she's convinced herself, despite West not doing a damn thing to showcase it, that her relationship with him will be different.
All I'm gonna say about Amanda being hurt by Carl & Lindsay's ad is that had she not placed herself in this situation, then Carl & Lindsay wouldn't have had fodder to make it so.
I'm wondering if it's because of who Amanda is having the confrontation with that West decides whether to step in and "support" Amanda.
It's not unusual to see Bravo husbands sit back when their wives are arguing with other women; it's like let the women argue amongst themselves. But it's different when it's a man vs a woman; then that husband steps in because, again, it's a man vs a woman.
West didn't have an issue physically moving his chair to sit by Amanda in support when Kyle was cursing her out, but Mia, Lindsay, & Ciara lay into Amanda & he hesitated to speak up.
And if that was his reason (and I'm saying if because Idk what goes through that man's mind), even that would have made more sense than "I didn't get up to go after her because what if Andy had more questions for me."
Some SH/Bravo fans have been using this situation to absolve Kyle of his wrongdoings, & that's never going to be me, lol.
I have never liked Kyle. I don't like how he has the emotional regulation of a child. I adore Carl's growth, but I have never liked how he & countless other men in the house have allowed Kyle to crash out & speak to ppl especially women, the way he does.
Was the way West went about supporting Amanda bc he didn't like how Kyle was talking to her sus? Absolutely. But Kyle has been talking like this to women in the house for years, and rarely has any man done anything about it.
So I don't want to hear Kyle talking about oh ppl didn't have the full context or how West wasn't the right person to defend Amanda because he's never had a mature relationship in his life. Kyle has been like this for years.
He's a grown fvckin man. He's BEEN needed therapy.
And if I said West has that viewpoint on men giving gifts, because that's the kind of man he is? Like I'm sure you do think of gifts that way lmao.
Amanda may not be the person I thought she was, but Kyle wasn't a good partner to her. He wasn't a good fiancé, and she should never have married him. My thoughts on that will never change.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
lowkey feel like I'm going crazy, bc why are they acting like Amanda hasn't been saying for years that she doesn't like Kyle going out so much, or going out with Kyle, because he likes to get blackout drunk and she doesn't like his behavior when he's like that? I feel like she's always been consistent in saying that about Kyle through the years.
Kyle can talk circles around it as much as he wants. He just doesn't want to flat-out say that he cheated, but 2+2 is always going to equal fvckin 4. The "my needs weren't being met" excuse means ZILCH to me. Know who also used that line? Tom Sandoval. It doesn't matter. If you're in a relationship where you feel that your needs aren't being met - which is a valid frustration - you can 1) try to have open dialogue & work towards resolution, 2) go to therapy, or 3) you can choose to LEAVE the relationship.
Thank you, Bailey, for saying that making out with someone that's not your partner fully falls into the category of cheating!!!!!
Cheating has always been a dealbreaker for me. And Kyle wasn't faithful to Amanda before they got married, so I'm not sure why she or anyone thought he would be faithful to her afterward. Kyle showed what kind of guy he was before their marriage & she chose to marry him anyway.
West is asking whether Amanda wants him to step in more. Did they not discuss how they were going to handle the reunion prior to filming, lmao? Also, I would hope that my partner wouldn't have to even bother to ask, you know? And not because they know me well enough that they'd already know the answer, but because they care about me enough. It wouldn't even be on their mind whether it pissed others off, because their number one concern would be how I feel. I'd do the same for someone I care about tho, so there's that lol.
"I can tell that Ciara gets under your skin & that's like her whole goal." I mean, yeah, I agree lmao. But also, if what Ciara was saying wasn't true, then she wouldn't be able to get under Amanda's skin so easily. You chose to betray your friend of six fvckin years. Someone whom you confided in and who knew your insecurities. You don't get to choose how someone reacts to your wrongdoing. Again, Amanda has been on Bravo for around 10 years now. She knew what the fvck it was. She should have developed a thicker skin since this is the road she chose to be on.
And lastly, Meija should have been flown in for this reunion. Especially since she has receipts. I understand that Kyle & Ciara plan to advocate for her, but she should be able to speak for herself, considering West played in her face on this show. She definitely would have been a more important addition to the stage than Levi was.
