idk if this would work but if I were to adapt the Homeric epics to screen in a miniseries or something I think that having background characters saying direct lines from the poem to the audience sometimes would be an interesting way to bring context to certain scenes and work as a Greek chorus kind of thing because like you’re adapting the contents of a song into a visual medium essentially and so incorporating elements of another visual medium (theatre) could help with some of the lack of interiority you get in a visual medium
if you spoke to lestat or louis about your pain, they would say, "your pain? what about MY pain?" but if you spoke about your pain to armand he would say "let me lobotomize you and you will never feel pain again." he has a solution-based mindset and we could all learn from him.

The Vampire Lestat (2026)
ASOIAF series crossover episode:
gwayne: …and then i realized that he probably only wanted me because of my resemblance of my sister, it was pretty fucked up
ned: its crazy that you mention that actually
hotd can easily film women of supposed power being sexually degraded numerous times but showing a black girl enjoying her life and being praised for her beauty by various men who all wanted her favor as she was in the source is suddenly just too much to ask for... not to mention giving that said girl the narrative of the single black girl from the source. wow.
Fareed clearly signed up to take part in some medical malpractice but didn’t realise he had agreed to work with Jigsaw.
As a Daniel enjoyer, can I just say, the racism is the point. The ableism is the point, the bag on her head as she cried, the student used aggressively, the estranged daughters. This is a boomer monster. Remember how he lectured Lestat's head on having carved out a path for himself? That's boomer talk. You dislike him by design, because he is a bad person and I'd never seen a so thoroughly boomer evil on tv, it's very interesting and timely, you just gotta understand that it's not a blind spot in the writing, it's intentional. Just like it's intentional that Armand torture Louis, and the shockingly evil ugliness of that. The ugliness of incest, of murder, nothing is sanitized.
They're wealthy predators, the discomfort is the point.
religion is so fucking funny the world is just too beautiful there must be a higher entity behind all this. lets oppress women
"are you team black or team green" neither. i want mutually assured destruction. i want them to rip each other to shreds. team pyrrhic victory or nothing.
There will be a day when majority of the fandom will look back and say:
"Huh..remember when we all hated that one brown dude who was bitter towards his ex who used him for sex in a show full of incestuous pedophiles, rapists and child murderers? That was pretty weird"
if i were in charge of star wars i would end the last movie witth yoda reading the story out of a big book and he gives a little chuckle and says "happened, none of that did." and then he gets out of his truck and waddles into walmart

Lady Rhaena Targaryen and her dragon Morning
welcome to the "feminist" retelling of the dance of dragons, where women aren't allowed to do anything except sit around and look sad and pretty while men make all the decisions
