Don't believe the lies that they plant in your head... the lies that tell you you'll never find anything good cause you're just a piece of crap. Because the truth is, someone out there will see the ugly in you but focus on the beauty and bring out the best in you. I remember telling myself this over and over and over again... going to bed hurting and waking up still hurting. Until one day, I woke up without tears in my eyes... then, I promised myself I will never cry for the same reason again. I never looked back since then... It's amazing what greater life you find when you start letting go of the pain and stop believing lies.
I never thought I'd smile and be happy again... but someone was brave enough to love me at my worst and help me be that happy me again :)

to everyone who’s hoping that one day they’ll wake up with a changed heart: sick of the pain, the disappointment, the frustration of loving someone so much and not being loved back. People who are hoping that, someday, they’d choose to pick themselves up, dust themselves off, choose to move on and look ahead to greater things in their lives. To every single person who is, at present, being taken for granted.... THE BEST IS YET TO COME. YOU DESERVE BETTER. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE AMAZING. AND MOST ESPECIALLY DESERVING TO BE LOVED OVER AND BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
A touch of heaven in my life
Life is a world of uncertainties, tomorrows and the next days are always mysterious. One day you could be way up the ladder of happiness, next day you could be down on the ground crying and weeping.
I’ve always been a good Christian devotee... but like every person in the world, I have had my dark days: wrong choices in life, failures, disappointments... name it, I’ll sure know about it. Despite everything I’ve gone through, I’d say all is well in my life. Every time I sit back and reflect on my life, I never fail to notice how loving, embracing, and caring God has been to me and the people who are dear to me.
There are seasons in my life when I’ve compromised Him and my love for Him to satisfy other people’s happiness and my own. There were days when I only remembered to call on His name when I was in desperate need for something. There were times when I failed to thank Him for all the great things that He blesses me with.
But Him... God... Ha! He’s never turned His back at me. I changed... but He never did. In fact, He even provides before I ask. And it just utterly amazes me. It amazes me that there is actually someone who can love me that much.
Yes! someone actually loves you and I that much! This is why even if I am going through challenges and obstacles and my heart is hurting right now, I can say that all is well with my soul. As one worship song says “there’d be a season for joy and weeping, in everything our God is faithful”. Thus, I’m lifting my eyes on Jesus and the promise that He’s put in my heart. A promise that’s the touch of heaven in my life. All is well because in the uncertainty of my tomorrows lie the gradual fulfillment of God’s promises. I am the daughter of the most high, princess of the king.. fearfully and wonderfully made :)
