Parent Bruce Wayne, who dislikes hearing other parents complain about their kids making noise because he grew up in a huge, gloomy, and quiet manor. He loves hearing all the noise. The sibling banter, the WWE matches between his kids, the loud music, the yelling, the laughter. All. Of. It. He can't get enough.

Even before the death of his parents, there was only so much noise a single child could make on their own. Sure, he understands needing some quiet time, but you'll never catch Bruce complaining about the only normal chaos in their home. It's comforting to know that he has a home filled with life again. It reminds Bruce that he has a family and isn't alone anymore.

I keep replaying Tyranny’s distress regarding the blade. How she confided in Wic and when he was going to lie for her, she stepped up and confessed to the group, how when Kattigan yelled at her, she took it—genuinely upset by her actions, begging for them not to define her by this. Sometimes our nature feels undeniable, if you’ve been told you’re evil your whole life, it’s a lot easier to believe you have no agency in the matter.

also there's something about Thimble telling Vaelus that she has free will and Vaelus asking "do you?" and how soft Vaelus looks when Thimble explains that Thjazi treated her as an equal if you look at it through a lens of Vaelus having some bitterness towards Sylandri for the Shapers' War. both women were born to be servants of something much bigger than them, but Thjazi truly cared for Thimble and valued her as a person, but as much as Sylandri cared for the elves, at the end of the day, Vaelus and the elves were still very much pawns to her.

Brennan is an evil man with his sad little gnome that made me cry real tears. Like what do you mean he’s been waiting 15 years for his daughters to come back from the falconer’s rebellion. On the other hand it was such a smart choice to make the rebellion feel real outside of the pcs. Such an emotional way to show the impact.
