My name's Halo, and welcome to my whump writing blog!
I'm a writer and an artist! Wanted to make a blog for my art and my OCs!! I'm a bit new to tumblr, but I'm excited to share!
That being said, I'm open to requests, but I only write for fun! It's a creative outlet, and burnout is really icky, so I might not always write things if I'm not comfy doing it.
I am NOT comfortable writing NSFW/explicit content or any super extreme gore. Mainly cuz I'm not sure how to, and I'm squeamish. I like to keep things on the tamer side! I'm a big fan of hurt/comfort, though! So there will be plenty of that here!
Once I start posting about my OCs, I'd love to get questions about them! I have a bunch and they go through some really whumpy scenarios! So yeah! If that interests you, then you're in the right place! Trying to get over my nerves and talk about my blorbos in a safe space! That being said, I do NOT consent to any of my characters or writing being used in chatbots or any sort of artificial intelligence.
I'm super into the Resident Evil game series, Marvel, Batman, Kingdom Hearts, and the Yakuza game series too! I love Barbie, Winx Club, Task Force 141 from COD MW2, baking, animals, and crafts as well!
Welcome to my notebook! Hope you enjoy your stay! ✏️🩷
Hero wakes up to the feeling of a long needle piercing their neck. "Hey--stop--!"
But the feeling of warmth softens the tension in their body quickly. Very quickly. They sink back against the pillows as a familiar scent overtakes them.
"Villain--" they pant, their limbs too comfortable to move. A rustling beside them confirms it. "W--why--?"
A hand ghosts their chin, but now they can barely grunt.
"No reason," Villain says just to their right, "I missed you..."
Oof- here's part 3! Here's part 2 and part 1 for those curious to how Hero got in this mess lol- Thanks to everyone who's been showing interest in the series!!! :D 🩷 It means a lot!!! Hope you all enjoy!
"Mother, are you certain you didn't give them a poisoned dart? They've been out for an entire day," Villain huffed, rubbing his hands up and down his arms.
Hero felt horribly strange. Their body wasn't responding as they taken failed to will their head up. The world was a slurry of dark blues and... were those... Voices?
"Little Raven, I swear on all evil that I would never do such a thing. Maybe they're a late bloomer." Villain's mother tried to reassure her son as she glanced at his unconscious rival.
"Maybe you've actually gone and done the poor thing in, dearest," Villain's father joked as he looked up from his magazine.
She shot him an icy look. "Wesley, I am trying to reassure our son!"
"It was merely a jest-"
"Neither of you are helping! Devils below-! I'm going to my room. Have the henchmen notify me immediately when they wake up. As for you two, sort yourselves out!"
And with that, Villain huffed and went upstairs, rubbing his temple. His mother rolled her eyes before turning to her husband. "That could've gone better".
"It always can, darling. But our child is genuinely worried, it looks like. You're certain the little hero isn't dead? It'd be devastating if so, but we also need more food for the piranha pit-"
"Wesley, I swear-"
"...uugh... W-where...?"
The couple spun around to see their son's beloved alive and kicking. Well... sort of. But that was good enough for them. Villain's mother whispered a hushed prayer, happy that she didn't have to give Villain some bad news.
"Shall I send for the henchmen to tell our boy?" Villain's father asked, still looking through some catalogues. Turning to his wife, he was pleasantly surprised to see her hold up a finger. Waiting. His wife wanted to get a good look at Hero for herself.
"So this is the infamous Hero I hear so much about," Villain's mother smirked as she looked down at them in thinly veiled interest. Checking her nails in the light, she didn't spare them another glance as they tried to wake up a bit more.
"My son has a fascination with you, so it seems."
Weakly turning their head, Hero's eyes somewhat focused on the woman standing by the stairs. Wait- this wasn't their house. Or a hospital. Or Superhero's headquarters. This was somewhere new.
"Dearest, are you certain we cannot replace them with a clone? They don't seem particularly exceptional. Look at them," Villain's father scoffed as he glanced at Hero's body. "Young thing can't even handle Agent Jade. You know, when I was their age, I had been poisoned at least 5 times-"
"Quiet, darling. This is who our son said was worthy. At least give them a chance. How ever slim it may be. And of course you'd been poisoned, who else brought up your tolerance?"
"W-who...? W-what's going on?" The panic in Hero's voice slowly made itself known as they tugged at the cuffs keeping them down.
"Don't worry your precious little do gooding head about it. Besides, we're here for a more important reason."
Sitting on the plush sofa, Villain's mother swirled her glass of wine. Looking over at her husband, he sat up in his recliner and with his usual frown.
"Tell me what you know about tying people up. Can you tie knots? How do you feel about zip ties? Can you conjure any restraints with those silly powers of yours," she asked with a raised brow and deadly serious face.
"E-excuse me...?" Hero blinked, looking at the woman in confusion. Where's there torture device? The superpower extractor? The knives? The last thing they expected to hear was their capability of restraining someone.
"You heard my wife, child. Can you or can you not bind," Villain's father repeated a touch louder.
"I mean yes I can- b-but what does that have to do with any of t-this?!"
Before either of them could get any more questions in, footsteps quickly drew closer as Villain ran down the stairs. "Mother! You were supposed to tell me when they woke up," he complained, shoving a henchman out of his way.
"Hero, darling! They didn't do anything embarrassing did they? Devils below I am so sorry-" Villain strained, looking at his parents with an irritated glare .
"Villain?! W-what the heck is going on? WAIT- mother?!" All of this was making Hero's head spin.
"Breathe, little thing. Calm yourself before you pass out again," their rival soothed as he stood by the table. Villain's eyes roamed their face with focus.
"This is insane!"
"You're still not breathing."
Hero glared at him before taking some exaggerated breaths. "There. Happy now? Now would you please tell me what the heck is going on, Villain?!"
Villain sighed as if the answer wasn't obvious. "How much do you remember, he asked, hand trailing up their arm.
"I... you destroyed some of the city... I knocked you into the office building... and I... I heard someone in trouble but-"
Villain smirked. "Good! You know the gist of it. Yes, we did get in to a bit of a quarrel. And yes, you did throw me into the office complex. Thank you for that by the way," he huffed with a roll of his shoulders.
"You know you're lucky that we have chiropractic services here. If it weren't for the henchmen I'd be looking like a shrimp. I suggest you pay them a visit." A soft chuckle came from his throat as he looked them in the eye.
Hero's eyes widened. What on earth was he talking about? Why were they here with him? And why has no one hurt them yet?
"Little Raven, would you like some privacy? Wesley and I will be outside!" Villain's mother smiled wide as she pushed her husband towards the door.
"But, Anastasia! I wanted to see-"
"Let's go, Wesley!"
With the soft click of the door, Villain breathed a sigh of relief. Pushing a button on the wall, the metal cuffs around each of Hero's limbs released with a soft hiss.
"Now then. It's time we had a talk about why you're really here."
heyy i just read parental approval and loooved it!! is there any chance you would continue it? thank youu!!
Hiya!!! :D 🩷
Thank you so much for reading!! ^^ It's been a really fun project so far! I can definitely see myself continuing it too (and there's a draft in the works :P)! Thank you for being so interested!!! It's really encouraging!!! 🫂
Some days at Klyne Clinical Research Labs were better than others. But time stops for no one, and Dr. Klyne capitalized on every opportunity to advance her tests. The downside of that was that the entire facility had to deal with an overtired, fussy toddler doctor.
"Doctor Klyne, are you certain you're set for today's patients? The nurses can handle-"
The clatter of books and glass hitting the floor shattered the quiet atmosphere. The good doctor had hit a bit of a breaking point, trashing the room.
"UGH! Nobody even asked you!" Rhea snapped, turning to face her assistant. "I'm a damn good doctor!!! Stop criticizing me!"
"No one said you were incapable-"
"OH SO NOW I CAN'T DO MY JOB?! Save it! Get out of my way!"
Scouring through yet another filing cabinet for who knows what, her frustrations voiced in huffs and mumbles. "This is what I come topside to after working in the chemical lab all night? Unbelievable," she muttered, tugging at her hair.
One of her orderlies on the other side of the room whispered to the other. "She's doing it again... Should we intervene?" They asked, scared to speak above a hush.
"Do you wanna end up on her bad side? Kent got the electroconvulsive last time. No one's heard back from him.." the other whispered back.
Apparently they weren't quiet enough. Throwing a beaker in between the two of them, Rhea scowled, watching as the shards nearly imbedded themselves into the orderlies.
"WHAT are you two blabbing about?! Get me my gloves!! Stop standing around!!!!"
Hurrying to her office, she slipped on a new pair of shoes before looking for her pediatrician scrubs. Stupid stupid STUPID! Where were her things? The clinic opened in less than an hour and she needed everything in its spot-
"Dr. Klyne?"
"Busy."
Daniel Reeves, one of her attending physicians, walked into the room with purposely loud steps. A worried look was painted on his face as he crossed his arms.
"Just coming back from the lab?"
"I just got done with a new serum if you have to know."
Daniel could clearly tell. The dark green stains on her coat and the cracked safety goggles on her head told him enough. Probably another accidental exposure. Which explained a lot.
"Are you feeling alright? Isn't that serum still in development? You didn't get exposed to too much did you?" He asked carefully, eyes filled with concern and hint of something else.
Rubbing her temples, Rhea looked for her water bottle, "I'm feeling fine. Yes it's still in development. I'm handling it," she grumbled. Where the heck did she put that damn thing?
A knock on the door snapped the doctor out of her thoughts. "Looking for this, doc? Left it in the break room," her nurse practitioner, Morgan Thompson, came in, offering the bottle.
Snatching it, Rhea took a few swigs before taking a breath. "Thank you. You and Daniel can go now. Make sure the waiting area has new magazines too. The kids like the national geographic ones...and the I spy books."
"We're focused on you right now," Daniel reminded.
"That is unnecessary. Go back to your job."
"Our job is making sure you get some rest, doc."
Feeling a dull fogginess in her head, Rhea glared at her staff. "Quiet! Both of you!!! I pay you both to do your damn jobs!!! Time doesn't stop because you two think I need a break-"
Stumbling a little, her vision began to swim. A migraine? The chemical? Neither of those made her feel this way...
"You idiots... What did you... do?" Rhea murmured, eyes failing to focus on her assistants. Daniel sighed, looking at Morgan.
The latter looked at her boss with knowing eyes, "I told you she'd have a fit."
"You need rest, doctor-"
"Oh piss off!!! That's my decision to make, you- you traitors!!" She cried out, holding onto her desk as her legs gave out. Backstabbing little-
"Damn.. that was fast. Morg, what did you put in her water?" Daniel asked his coworker. Morgan simply shrugged, watching her boss succumb to the drug. "Sedative. No use in her running around when she's irritable as it is. You know she won't stop."
Rhea couldn't believe her ears. Mutiny. In her own clinic?! Those two had better hope that she'd be too out of it when she wakes up.
"I'm... I'm going to-" the doctor cut herself off as she slumped to the floor. Barely making out the forms of her staff as her eyelids drooped shut.
Walking over to their now unconscious boss, Daniel placed a hand on her shoulder, "You can tell us all about it when you wake up from your nap, doc..."

Whumpril 2026 Day 27 (altprompt): Clingy (Jacinth)
Whumpril Masterlist
Jacinth Masterlist
This is a bit of Jacinth's story with Y/N! It's a bit long, so under the cut it shall go!
Summer had fallen over the fae realm. The daylight fae and the fire fae relished in the sun’s heat, and all fae of the water enjoyed showering others with their magic. Jacinth, being a midnight fae, and more importantly, born out of late autumn, was not nearly as enthused. He spent most of the time in his home with Y/N, trying everything in his power to stay cool.
“What would you like to do today?” he asked.
He was laying on a patch of moss by the little fairy pools, and Y/N was sitting nearby.
“I- never mind.”
“What? Tell me.”
“I don’t think you’d like it.”
“Please?”
“In my realm, we would always go to the beach during the summer. We’d spend pretty much all day there.”
Jacinth forced a smile. Of course his human would like the beach. There was just one little problem; the beach led to the ocean. Never was there a more mysterious realm than below the surface of the water, and as inquisitive as Jacinth was in regards to other matters, that was one mystery he didn’t want to solve.
He took a good look at his human. How much was he willing to do for her?
“Then we shall go at once!” Jacinth said, standing up.
He was willing to do anything, it seemed.
“You… you want to go?” Y/N’s eyes lit up with hope.
“I want to see you happy,” Jacinth said.
Jacinth couldn’t lie, but he had found other ways to play with the truth to his advantage.
“Can we go right now!?” Y/N asked eagerly.
“Absolutely,” Jacinth said.
That was how Jacinth found himself in his current predicament. While Y/N swam in the shallows, he fluttered over the surface, careful to not let his wings get splashed. It was common knowledge, given their delicate structure, that wet wings would significantly impede a fae’s ability to fly. Save for the fae that specialized in water magic, such as rain fae, who could simply remove the water from their wings on a whim, no one in the realm willingly approached a lake or seashore with their wings out.
“The water is very nice, Jacinth, you should come in!” Y/N called.
“I shall admire it from up here, thank you,” Jacinth said, “wet wings do not make for a good time.”
“Can’t you do that thing with your wings though so they don’t get wet?”
Jacinth sighed. Y/N had a terribly good memory sometimes. He folded his wings, letting them rest under his skin. He dropped into the water like a pebble. With a splash, he sunk beneath the waves. Then he bobbed up to the surface.
“See?” Y/N beamed.
Jacinth was wet. Too wet. He didn’t like it. Not at all. He didn’t know what the moon saw in the ocean, he really didn’t.
A splash to his face made him jump. Y/N giggled, looking about as innocent as a snake after lunch.
Jacinth let a smirk slide up. He splashed her right back. Y/N was not to be deterred; she swam around, avoiding his attacks and aiming direct hits to his blue skin.
So caught up were they in their little game, that Jacinth barely noticed the green frond reaching for him.
Jacinth’s head disappeared under the surface. Y/N froze.
“Jacinth?” she called, “that’s cheating!”
…
Jacinth couldn’t breathe. He could barely see; the saltwater stung his eyes as the sea plant dragged him down into its center. Its tendrils clung to his limbs in a tight embrace as they climbed every inch of him. He tried to swim up, but the plant’s grip was like forbidden iron.
Something of a tubular shape wormed its way into his mouth. Jacinth’s lungs burned with fire, and they threatened to turn to ash if he didn’t get air soon. Just as darkness encroached on his vision, his body betrayed him and sucked in a breath.
Water did not flood his lungs, only salty air. As his vision returned, he saw that a strange sea flower had been shoved in his mouth and secured with more fronds. His prison had become his savior.
Jacinth still struggled in the plant, bucking and thrashing.
…
“Jacinth!?”
He hadn’t surfaced in over a minute. Could fae hold their breath for longer than humans? Y/N wasn’t sure she wanted to find out.
She dived, scanning the waters for where Jacinth might have gone off to. The water was remarkably clear, it was like looking through a pane of smooth glass. Fish swam around her in tight groups, and at one point, a family of seals passed by. Y/N blinked as one of the seals seemed to actually wave at her.
She broke through the surface, taking a deep breath before going back under. Jacinth was running out of time.
…
Jacinth inhaled slowly. If the water could recede, the plant would be much easier for a rescuer to spot. Not only that, but the sun’s rays would surely weaken the fronds that were so used to a wet environment.
Mother Moon, I know you have your own way of doing things, but just this once…
Jacinth had not yet finished his thought before the water rushed back along the sand, leaving fish flopping about uselessly as the tide was pulled back.
Almost at once, the sea plant began to wither as the sun worked its power. The moon must have conversed with the sun for extra help. Jacinth kicked the offending fronds away and spat the flower out of his mouth.
…
Y/N glanced behind her as the water receded. Oh no. No no no no no.
She bolted to the shoreline. She bumped into Jacinth as she ran. No time for a reunion though, not if what she thought was happening was happening.
She grabbed his hand despite his protests and didn’t stop running for anything, not until…
“Stop, Y/N!”
She skidded to a halt, quite against her will.
“What are you doing!?” she exclaimed, “there’s a- a tsunami is coming! We have to get to higher ground!”
“Tsunami?” Jacinth asked.
They both turned at the sound of rushing water. Rather than an enormous tidal wave, the ocean simply returned to the shoreline, lapping peacefully at the sand and shells.
“Uh…” Y/N tilted her head.
“My dear human,” Jacinth said, “the moon would not be so cruel. Come on, I think we’ve had enough of a beach day to last an age.”
Jacinth unfolded his wings and began the trek back to a more familiar part of the realm.
“What happened to you, anyway?” Y/N asked.
“Hm?”
“You were gone for so long, I was scared you might have drowned.”
Jacinth smiled.
“I am glad to hear you were concerned,” he said, “but no, I was making someone’s acquaintance.”
“Who?”
“It doesn’t matter now, they were getting a bit clingy.”
I can only swim in a small pool- not the freaking ocean! We'd both be toast! 😭 If I were y/n that whole thing would scare me out of talking him to go to the beach EVER AGAIN bc WOW-

Part 1 if you haven't read it! Thank you anon for requesting a part 2! I was so excited to write this!! Hope you enjoy!
The screams of panicked civilians filled the air as Villain flew around the city. Sure, the parking garage didn't have to get blown up. But it's not like the tolls were doing anyone any favors, or the entire structure for that matter. And the place was evacuated beforehand, but he'd never tell Hero that.
"Just a little something to bring you out..." Villain muttered to himself. He didn't want to stay any longer than he had to. His parents wanted to meet Hero sooner rather than later.
His comms cracked to life. "Son? Is this thing on? Can't get this blasted thing to work- What does the red light mean? Villain!!" His father shouted into the communicator.
"YES father, I can hear you." Villain groaned, rubbing his temples. His old man was still just as bad with technology. Why was he on the line?
"Oh? Perfect! How is your plan coming along? Have you found your hero yet?"
"A bit hard to do with you on the line, don't you think? I've already blown up the parking garage and the mayor's statue. What does it take to get a superhero around here?" Villain huffed, perching on a skyscraper. It had already been a whole 5 minutes! At this rate, maybe he should visit the park-
"Stop right there, Villain!!"
He smiled, turning around to face his rival. "There they are! The guest of the hour! Any longer and I was going to-"
"You're coming with me! This stops right now," Hero commanded, flying towards him. The sharp hum of their powers met his ears.
"As if I would ever- AH! Okay! Let's settle down!" Villain flew out of the way, dodging a few energized bolts. Sharp as ever. His Hero always was. Teleporting in front of them and grabbing their fist, he looked Hero in the eyes. "Unfortunately, we'll have to save this scuffle for another time, lovely."
"Wha- ACK!!" Hero's words hardly left their lips before the felt a hard jab to their ribs. Their eyes narrowed, immediately charging at Villain with a tackle. The two spiraled into the air as they exchanged blows.
"OOF- Devils below, are you actually trying to injure me this time?" He joked as he shoved them away.
"This isn't funny, Villain! You nearly blew up a quarter of the city! Do you have any idea the people you could've killed?!"
"Don't be so dramatic! I could not care any less about them, Hero. Besides, you need to look presentable for later." Villain replied. Using his powers, he teleported in front of his nemesis and grabbed them by the shoulders.
"I'm offering you a way out, darling."
"What are you talking about? Way out of what!?"
"A way out of this! This disgusting cycle. This sad excuse for a city. Think about it- you can finally be free from it all!"
"Villain-"
"You don't have to be the hero anymore."
The color drained from their face as their jaw dropped. Villain had lost his mind. Sure, their back and forth was thrilling, fun even. He'd definitely kept things interesting. But to give up being a hero? To leave the city with no protector? Hero couldn't bear that.
Hero suddenly directed a blast right at his chest, burning hot energy sending Villain straight into a building. "I will never stop keeping people safe! This city needs me and you know it," they snapped. Seeing him splayed out on a balcony, they sighed, thinking he'd be down for a while. Circling back around the rubble, Hero searched for anyone in trouble.
Once they were out of sight, Villain groaned, getting to his feet and cracking his back. Hero was playing passionate today. And he loved it when they did that. Wiping some blood from his face, he dusted off his suit. He checked himself over. A bit of a stinging in his jaw, but nothing he couldn't handle. The giant tear across his chest would be an issue for the tailors(and his mother would definitely be irritated about it), but that was for later.
"Oh, Hero. You poor bleeding heart..." Villain chuckled through bloodied teeth, grabbing the tranquilizer gun from his back. The chamber had five darts. Five chances. Though he was sure he'd only need one. Checking his belt, he found a small vial of glowing liquid with a note attached.
"Good luck out there, little raven! ★-Mom"
Villain smiled, his mother really did think of everything. He coated each of the darts with the liquid from the vial before loading them back in. Time to get his hero for good.
Hero, on the other hand, was scouring through the debris of the parking garage. "Is anyone else here? I'm here to help! Shout if you can hear me," they called out.
"H-help!!! Please!!!"
Rushing over to the far end of the rubble, they started digging. "It's okay! I'm here to get you out!" Hero reassured, pulling away rocks and concrete. Their brow furrowed at the sight of a voice recorder laying in the dirt.
"Help! I can't breathe-" the recorder short circuited before dying out with a mechanical gurgle.
"W-what the- AUGH!" A sharp pain in the back of their neck made them turn around.
"Surprise, Hero."
A few feet away from them, Villain hovered over the wreckage with a smirk. Hero pressed a hand to their neck, feeling a dart and ripping it out with a hiss. "T-that-"
"Was a trap, clever thing," Villain chuckled. "How else was I supposed to get you alone? And distracted," he asked, creeping closer.
Stumbling back, Hero looked at him with wide eyes. They raised a hand, shooting a weak bolt of energy from their palm. Nausea swirled in their gut and their ears started to ring. Not only that, but now their vision was tinged with violet at the edges. Whatever he'd given them wasn't normal.
"W-what did you do...?" Hero rasped, slumping to the ground. The feeling of the jagged ruins underneath them was completely lost. A numb sensation spread through their body along with a sinking dread.
"You just couldn't have come willingly, could you darling? Now I have to bring you back damaged," Villain chastised. Cold hands cupped Hero's face as they looked into his eyes.
"Hhngh... Vill'n..." they slurred out, failing to keep their head up. He cradled their dazed face with a victorious smirk. Hero's head lolled against his palms as their body went limp.
"Shhh, I've got you. Just sleep, Hero..."
The last thing they saw was their rival's smiling face before their eyes fluttered shut. Scooping them up and maneuvering them over his shoulder, Villain flew back to his house, enjoying the scenery. The weight on his shoulder felt right.
Pressing a button on his communicator, he started a call with his mother.
"Villain! Dearest! How did it go? Do you have them?"
"As a matter of fact, I do mother. I'm en route to the mansion."
His mother cheered in absolute delight. "Ooh! Wonderful!! Tell me all about it when you get here," she replied happily.
Villain chuckled, a swell of pride in his chest at his mother's praise. "I will, mother. See you when I get home."
Ending the call, he continued on his way, being careful not to jostle his prize too much. They'd better not get any blood on his mother's rugs.
