After a while, decided to make a masterlist for my stories, fics, and OCs here, along with reintroducing myself in the whump community, now that I'm active again!
I'm @writer-of-worlds, AKA WoW, she/her, 30, with a whump sideblog, and I am a sucker for kidnapping whump! I also love rescue whump and angst in general, along with many other tropes that are too many to list LOL. I'm a writer who writes original stories and fanfiction (my main Fandoms are Super Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy 1) so expect some whumpy goodness from me! Not on hiatus, but a heads up that I'll be busier than usual, so I won't be around as much till things settle down! Let's just say life changes are happening :)
Used as bait where Whumper doesn't care about Character A once Character B is captured.
Maybe Whumper leaves them where they are (tied up, possibly gagged), maybe they release them and/or force them to leave, maybe they take Character B and just leaves. Maybe they kill them. Character A's only purpose was to be bait, to lure Character B in and once that is done, they just get tossed to the side.
"I only took you because you were easier to capture than Character B. You were just a tool to get to them. I don't need you anymore."
Whump reveal that happens when Whumpee is so tired/delirious/drunk that they accidentally type all of their "google searches" into messages to Caretaker rather than the actual search bar, so Caretaker wakes up to dozens of texts saying
"how bad is it if you get stabbed in x place"
"how important is your liver"
"why can't i stand up"
And when they text/call back, Whumpee is not replying.
used as bait except the person being used is actually some manner of freak who's quite happy to be tied up and act crying and pathetic. It's like when you allow a theatre kid to perform a death scene.

They act all dramatic while tied up and pathetic. "Caretaker! Help me!" Or they're really into the used as bait trope and becomes dramatic by screaming "Oh Caretaker, don't come! It's a trap~"
YEEEEEEES. Especially if breathing through the mouth is their only source of air (from, say, a stuffed nose or their nose is plugged), or there's a cloth stuffed in their mouth!
You ever try different gags on yourself, just to see how well they work? Bandana with a knot tied in the middle is my fave so far, but the way it gets tangled in the back of my hair is subpar.
I had tried to gag myself once years ago, with a bandana! I'm a fan of cleave gags (where the gag is between the teeth and tied around the head), but I tried it and... yeah. Not good to muffle the words. It's like you're eating something while talking, except no way to choke on your gag XD
I hadn't tried any other gags since because... well, I live with someone else and it'd be awkward if he walked in on me gagging myself ^^;

It's a fun whump event that anyone can join, and it happens on April 1-15 every year, which is my birthday month. There are a few rules (for example, NSFW must be tagged as NSFW), but aside from those rules, the event is there in good fun. Sure, you can get badges for participating or completing it! But you don't have to join it if the prompts aren't for you or for any other reason! And anything can be made too, from writing and art to GIFs! Only thing that is NOT allowed is AI generated stuff.
