I've drawn these gals before but this is their Official Introduction, I guess, since the art is nicer. they're also the main characters of the comic I'm (finally) writing! I will proceed to ramble about them below

Brandy and Sherry are sisters who died unpleasantly and then came back for another go. neither of them remembers very much about their lives, and they're also kind of fuzzy on the immediately-post-resurrection portion of their existence.

lucky for them, in that fuzzy time period they found their way to Clifford, a púca who owns a bar/secret magical hang-out spot. since they no longer look like regular alive humans (and are probably missing persons), he lets them stay in one of his spare rooms because he has a habit of picking up strays needed some employees anyway.

Sherry (braid) is the older sister, 19 years old, and is a highly nervous individual. she's still getting used to the 'being thrust violently into a secret magical world' thing, and is often in fight and/or flight mode. she's very polite and a very hard worker, because it helps keep her mind off of Everything.

Brandy (pigtails) is the younger sister, 16, and is the cool tough one (in her opinion). she's reckless and fighty and kind of rude, because she's already dead, so whatever she does can't possibly make the situation worse, right?

So the plot is that the situation gets worse.

hate working on a drawing that I have a perfect image of in my head AND it's turning out great and I wanna post it so so bad but it isn't finished in the real world yet

every once in a while I feel compelled to draw a wardrobe, so I made some Looks for my gal Amphon, who is super cool and only wears red and black. she wants to be a vampire sooo bad

I've been sick for the past week and thus totally unable to focus on creating things with Artistic Merit (I have managed to nail down a comic idea with a plot and everything though so I can chip away at specifics now that the brainfog has left me) BUT designing little outfits is always a fun activity so it at least managed to get me to draw something... even if this image took like a solid 3 days to do because I've basically been unconscious since last sunday

I wanna make comics again...

I used to make silly little comics with my friends all the time when I was a kid and had a great time doing it but now I feel totally incapable of stringing words and pictures together and it sucks, man.

went to school for it for 4 whole years and then graduated and have drawn maybe 20 panels since then... don't know what I have to do to get in gear but I feel like I'm gonna explode if I don't make Something.

I dunno man. sometimes I wish that Id started doing Online Content way earlier and just stuck with it instead of hopping around between sites for years and being too afraid to just throw stuff out there. I'm sure people are still making webcomics and stuff but for whatever reason my brain insists that the era has passed and I missed my chance.

I've had a million ideas but never really managed to flesh anything out which is why I'm drowning in characters that do nothing but float around in my brain for years on end.. might just have to pick an idea and brute force my way through it because it seems like the only way I have even a chance of getting out of my head about it. just pick a vague direction and hope for the best because if I think about anything for too long I manage to overcomplicate it and just worry myself into dropping it. doesn't help that my art style is so not conducive to the kind of stuff I'm interested in writing so I feel like I've gotta generate a whole new one from scratch or something

I'll figure it out eventually. maybe by the end of the year I'll have something goin' for me.

doodle page time! forgot I had this sitting in my files, but it's here now! had a sudden burst of Werewolf Thoughts a couple months ago, so I started tinkering at Hemming (^ this guy), who I've had for years but never really figured out lore for

he has marginally more lore now and I'm pretty happy with his look so I consider this a win.

Hemming is a very recently-turned werewolf who works at a forest campground (the bunch-of-small-cabins kind) as a handyman/caretaker/jack of all trades guy. he's basically the only person there on the off-season because he lives on-site, so he spends a lot of time wandering around the woods at night like a responsible person. so obviously he gets attacked by a werewolf.

luckily being mauled by a horrifying monster in the middle of the woods activated Fight Mode and he just Bit the thing right back. and then it ran off! so he dragged himself back to his cabin and started having a series of highly unpleasant days. he also has suspicions that the werewolf that attacked him is lurking around to finish the job, which really isn't helping his mental state.

Also, some little factoids about werewolves in my oc world:

they aren't really wolves, just weird mostly-canine-looking monsters. the vibe is close enough, so I call them werewolves because why not

one of the main symptoms of getting turned is pigmentation changes! mostly it makes you start going grey, but it can also turn hair darker. Hemming got both (his hair used to be light brown)

becoming a werewolf comes with free immortality! of the "doesn't die unless killed" variety. stabbing something vital with silver is the most convenient way, since it stops them from healing, but you could also explode them if you wanted to be wacky about it. most other methods don't do much.

werewolves can basically shift whenever, but it's easier at night and when the moon is more full. their first few shifts after being turned will be on the stereotypical involuntary full-moon schedule, but they can get better at controlling it over time, at least if they get some practice in.

Peekaboo!

getting my monthly post in right under the wire...

was working on a couple other things this month but wasn't liking them and then I played ENA: Dream BBQ (banger game btw) and was compelled to just do something weird, so I dusted off an ancient OC and changed basically everything about her. inspiration works in mysterious ways..

some info bits I've shaken out of my brain are:

her true body is a mass of black arms, the mannequin body is like a hermit crab shell to her. she can grow new arms at will

the hair-bang shape is not hair, it's her main hand/real face. the light behind the mask's eye holes is her eye, which can move around to look through whatever mask hole she wants.

she's a mood-swinger, and changes out her faces when she wants to convey a new emotion, so if she's going through them especially fast she can end up looking like an arms hydra

the demon equivalent of an annoying teenager. spends a lot of time minorly inconveniencing other demons for kicks and just kind of being a Meangirl

not 100% on a name for her yet... was thinking Dantalion (since I've got a couple other Ars Goetia-named guys) but not quite sure if it fits. will have to think on it some more
