𓄧 I made this blog to talk about my characters and my game, odd jobs!
𓄧 this game has been my project for over a year now, and it's been what's been keeping me sane while I have been sick in bed.

𓄧 I am trying to make this blog focused on my story but my love for the many things I'm a fan of will spill through. a repost of fanart isn't endorsing of all the artist's ideals, the source media's messages, or anything like that. sometimes I just like a drawing.
𓄧 also be warned!!!!! I am pro-fiction, and my story will contain a lot of darker topics. the writer's explicitly announced fetish! this is also why I have mdni in my bio, as my game includes quite a bit of sex.

new roxxie ref sheet!! crazy how it’s not even been a year since I made the original (started 28th of may and finished 4th of june, because life got in the way), and I can still see a big difference. it’s been lovely working on this guy, and the more he develops the more I want to put this game out, so that other people can finally meet her

recently replayed all of yttd and remembered how much I love it. I also drew soushin but don’t really feel like posting it here, unless someone is interested. alt colours under cut
UN1T is completely detached. Programmed as a household helper instead of a companion, it doesn't understand human emotion nor does it pretend to. he was made as a project by a rich kid looking to make a startup, who up and left back to his parents' home when he realised how much work it would take. He didn't bother to turn UN1T off, assuming he'd just run out of juice by itself. now it likes to study humans, trying to understand the inner workings of their minds and bodies. He's looking for a new test subject, will you join it?
ᯤ Stats:
Height and build: 200cm, long and jointed.
Scent: Old plastic toys and dirt.
Voice: Robotic and monotone, 'neutral british male', old TTS.
Diet: Electricity, needs to recharge once a week.
Likes: Fixing electronics, studying humans.
Dislikes: Anything overly human; strong emotions, art, social cues.
ᯤ Relationships:
With Casimir: He respects that Casimir uses his grasp over human emotion to manipulate, but he's still too close to alive for UN1T's liking. He tends to keep to himself, as much as the other two let him. it is a little curious about whatever is happening between Roxxie and Casimir, but knows that finding out more would probably end up with him involved, so it avoids the topic as much as possible.
With Roxxie: He doesn't understand her, struggling with the zombie's loud attitude and strong emotions. as much as it tries to avoid her, Roxxie insists on talking. she doesn't show up to the shop as much anymore, but texts it more now, which UN1T believes has something to do with Casimir, but has decided not to inquire. sometimes, if UN1T really needs help, and there hasn't been a visitor in Weyfold for a while, he will use Roxxie's loneliness to his advantage to get her to help it out. just for little fixes, of course.
With YOU (The MC): You are not interesting to UN1T. if you want to be anything more than an afterthought, you have to present yourself as fascinating as possible, while keeping your human behaviours to a minimum, while being fully subservient to all his demands. maybe then, it'll want to keep you around once you're done fixing him up, for better or for worse.

Pronouns and identity: He/him, but is fine with they/them. feels aligned with the trans experience, and is aroace queer.
Themes: Religious imagery, porcelain doll, angel, seduction, "homme fatale".
Who is he?:
Casimir has been hiding under the disguise of an angel for centuries, using his appearance to lure in lustful men of faith, but will settle for anyone passing through Weyfold with enough interest in him. he is poised, quiet and refined, he has spent centuries refining the art of being exactly what a desperate soul needs to see. under his porcelain-like shell, hides a shadowy, slimy demonic figure. he's looking for a full meal, will you fall for his trap?

Height and build: 180cm, lean.
Scent: Old books, candle wax.
Voice: Quiet and smooth, conservative RP accent.
Diet: Souls, is only able to feed with the permission of the victim.
Likes: Practicing for hunts, exploring sensuality with others.
Dislikes: Religion and anti-sex ideals.

With Roxxie: He’s the only one Casimir trusts enough to be unshelled around. they have a very intimate relationship, which Casimir started as a way to casually experiment and practice hunts, but realised too late how clingy she is. when he is overwhelmed by the zombie, he will lock himself in his church for days until he has recovered his energy. despite that, he is very protective over Roxxie, and sometimes worries UN1T will get between them, as it's clearly an unhealthy relationship to anyone looking in. they call each other 'Father' and 'My Child'.

With UNIT: He is fascinated by the robot, as it's the only "being" he's ever spoken to who's completely devoid of lust and desire. this can range from frustration to interest, but he tends to keep his distance and tells Roxxie to do the same. he sometimes calls it "tin can".
With YOU (The MC): You are yet another possible hunt, like any human passing through the hamlet. he'll push you to spend time with him, admit your secrets, and maybe even get intimate... he is very good at making you forget the cost of it.

Roxxie is attached to everything and everyone; her dead subculture, anyone passing though her dead hamlet Weyfold, her monthly "raves", and her other nonhuman neighbours... all of which ignore her in return. A once 19-year-old scene kid frozen in a state of constant decay (although now closer to 30, but he stopped counting), she spends her nights in an empty warehouse preparing to throw raves, despite no-one ever staying around long enough to join her. She's looking for the one who won't leave her, ever, could it be you?

Height and build: 160cm, heavyset / pear-shaped.
Scent: A load of candy flavoured body perfume over rotting flesh.
Voice: Shrill and loud, mancunian accent.
Diet: Brains for sustenance, other body parts when starved. Will lie and say it's sour sweets, as she feels very embarrassed and guilty.
With Casimir: He’s the only one Roxxie loves who doesn't leave. He was the one who saved her and brought him to Weyfold, and they share an intimate relationship. Casimir is Roxxie's savior, mentor, pseudo-parent, love, and even "God". She calls him Father, he calls her My Child. Casimir often ignores Roxxie, locking himself away for days. Instead of leaving, Roxxie sleeps on the floor outside his door, making "offerings" (kandi, dolls, drawings).

With UNIT: He can't stand being unable to win over the robot. used to people who dislike her leaving or ignoring her, she doesn't know what to do with a cold wall. UN1T will use this to its advantage, being slightly more affectionate if it needs a favour. Casimir speaks very negatively of UN1T and doesn't want him in Roxxie's circle, so they mostly communicate via text or when Casimir has locked himself in his church.
With YOU (The MC): You are yet another thing for Roxxie to fixate on. although to be fair, anyone who speaks to him for more than a second gets that treatment. she won't be subtle about her desperation for your approval, and will spiral at any indication that you might not like him.

I was drawing the portraits for the character intros and realised how much I despise drawing the old UN1T's wig, and remembered that I don't have to torture myself and can just... change things. which was good as I didn't really have this dude's lore down when I drew the first ref, which made a lot of the decisions I made with the character not come across visually.

This is my first time trying to animate, I def need to hit the books, anything digital is a real struggle for me 😅 but I still love how he turned out!! I wanna make one for echoplex too
You can enjoy things in fiction that would be awful in the real world. Like playing a murderhobo in a game! In the real world, being or supporting a murderer-thief would be pretty damn awful, while in the game it's just good fun. Same with anything else you choose to do with the pixels on the screen, like kinks that don't affect anyone real, so they're okay in fiction, but would be pretty damn bad in real life.
No one else is responsible for your online experience. They are required not to harass you, but they are not and never will be obligated to not post about ships, kinks, or tropes you dislike just to avoid you seeing them. It's up to you to blacklist words or phrases, block tags, or even block users as needed to avoid seeing content that upsets you.
No one can force you to read anything against your consent. Any content you don't like seeing can be instantly avoided by closing out of the offending post/fic.
You are not owed an online experience free of discomfort.
Nothing that happens in your imagination can ever make you a bad person. Words you write or read about fictional characters will never make you a bad person.
The claim that media consumption influences real-life behavior is intellectually dishonest and serves only to excuse the behavior of real offenders.
Fiction is a safe way to explore horrifying or confusing concepts. Therapists agree that fiction, even (or especially) about taboo topics is a good coping mechanism, especially, but not exclusively, for trauma survivors. Fiction is to adults what play therapy is to children. This doesn't stop being true if the work in question is of a sexual nature.
Sex isn't an inherently worse or better motivation than anything else. A work written to create feelings of arousal isn't dirty, shameful, or in any way less pure than works written to entertain, provoke moral questions, or for other reasons. And worth noting is that multiple purposes can exist in the same story, especially fanfiction.
You aren't entitled to an explanation for why someone reads, writes, or otherwise enjoys certain works, kinks, tropes, ships, etc.
