you saved me again
what is a soulmate? it’s like a best friend but more. it’s that one person that knows you better than anyone else. someone who makes you a better person, actually.. they don’t make you a better person, you do that yourself. they inspire you. a soulmate is someone who you carry with you forever. the person who knew you and accepted you, before anyone else did. or when no one else would. and no matter what happens, you will always love them. and nothing could ever change that.

I can’t be me without you.
I would really like to be able to put into words what all this makes me feel inside. I said I wasn't judging the fans, they just want the movie, they're all trying to do what they think is a good thing, because they got together to make a dream come true. I don't judge them. I understand them.
My problem is with an industry that makes billions of dollars in profit every year yet they basically said: "If you want a movie, you'll pay for it." to normal people. And yes, people are getting stuff for the money, but we're already getting stuff for our money when we buy movie tickets, or DVDs or merchandise. They make money enough. They have money enough.
And if this is normal then tomorrow we'll be asked to pay for football players if we want to see them play, maybe we'll get an autograph in exchange for donating billions of dollars.
And you're right, in Hollywood eyes this is only a few measly dollars, that's the saddest part, that people are dying from hunger out there and we're here discussing whether or not we should donate our money so we get movies, and shows, and albums.
So, rich people get richer and poor people is basically forgotten. That's not right to me. But that's just my opinion. I'll say it again, people can do whatever they want with their money. I'll do what I think is right with mine.
Rant about fans raising money
I love Veronica Mars, I truly do, always did. Huge fan here. When I read something about a Veronica Mars movie I almost cry from excitement. Then I read the fans were paying for said movie...
That's just not right. I mean, of course it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it. But I see people in the streets everyday, homeless. People are losing their jobs, their homes, there are millions of people with no food, no water and diseases. And we're raising money for a movie? THAT'S JUST NOT RIGHT. It's so not right I'm truly offended. Not by the people who gave their money but by the people who are asking for it! They have food, water, and probably a better home than you have. THEY'RE NOT IN NEED.
I want to see a Veronica Mars movie like anyone else, and not only Veronica Mars, I would love to see anything Wonderfalls, Firefly or Legend of the Seeker related (to name a few) but I can perfectly live without any of it, it may be sad, but we'd all agree that people with no food or water is way sadder.
I've seen this behaviour a lot lately. Kickstarter, pledgemusic (Lenka, for example, is using this to release her new album), etc.
This is not how it should be. Famous people shouldn't be raising money for themselves, they should use their status to help others. It just makes me sad that the Veronica Mars movie project raised $2 million in 24 hours. Does anyone realize how many people we could help with that money? People in REAL need? It's just sad that now famous people are raising money for themselves like they were some kind of NGO. It's like someone go all: "Hey people, I can't keep making gifs because my computer is crap. Give me your money so I can buy a new one and keep making those gifs you love so much." THAT'S JUST NOT RIGHT.
As much as it pains me to say this (and it pains me because Veronica Mars is one of my favourite shows ever!) I'm not going to see that movie. I'd rather give the $9 that costs the movie ticket to the Red Cross. And I will not buy Lenka's album, no matter how much I love her music.
I will sponsor Jose Vanders (English singer/songwriter) who's raising money for Parkinson's UK. And I will give my money to Nathan Fillion, who has again used his birthday to raise money so people can get clean water. That's how it should be done.
Then again, it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it. It's your right. But please, stop for a second and think of all the people you can help with that money. $1/£1/1€ means the world for people in need.
A movie from your favourite cancelled show is great. Knowing that your money will give people food, water or a cure to their diseases is immensely better.
Good luck, I hope you get the chance to read Korsh's interview about Donna and Harvey it will get your hopes up :)
Thank you, anon! It did get my hopes up. =D
Your opinion matters to him.
Harvey: So that's why you're sitting at my desk.
Donna: I wanted to be in a position of power when I toyed with you.
Donna Paulsen, pwning a party like the Queen she is.
And as result of me being two seconds on the "harvey x donna" tag, re-watching Harvey/Donna scenes and reading two fics, I'm suddenly wondering if the reason why Harvey and Donna now touch each other (well, Donna touches Harvey, anyway) is because she got fired, and they almost lost each other, and now she's back, and something in the wall between them cracked.
“Your opinion matters to him.”
