HIFF 2013 Awards Announced - Hamptons International Film Festival

Awards for the 21st Annual Hamptons International Film Festival were announced this morning at the Golden Starfish Awards ceremony in East Hampton.  

Top films include: The Selfish Giant, Code Black, Philomena and Desert Runners. Congratulations to all the winners!

"Without the fall of the Berlin Wall, Nelson Mandela would have remained in prison."

Plot for Peace director Carlos Agullo traces the riveting diplomatic maneuverings to release Mandela from jail in South Africa in the 1980s. See the winner of the #HIFF2013 Conflict & Resolution Award next Sunday.
