Quiet: The Power Of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking is a book about being an introvert in today’s society. ————— I enjoyed the first 50 pages of this book, thinking it was actually good. But page after page it started getting boring and the author just kept on repeating the same points over and over again. And as the book carries on the reader slowly realizes that Cain thinks all introverts are basically like her, and that all extroverts are shallow yapping idiots, and I genuinely hated that. Also, I really hated how she made introverts seem weak, fragile and “extra sensitive” people. ————— This book is nothing like I expected, as an introvert, I wanted to read a book about how introverts can survive in an extrovert world, but this book felt nothing more than a self-help on how to do public speaking. I am really really really disappointed. —————
