This line of shirts celebrates Bgirl/Bboy culture. This dance started in New York City as one of the 5 elements of Hip Hop and has evolved into a worldwide movement of dancers. Being the mom of a bboy Thesis I have had the great honor of being witness to something rare and beautiful in this world that these dancers have created. In almost every country , and in some of the smallest cities, towns, and villages, there are young people that are fully immersed into this dance culture. They practice and practice and dream of battling in a competition.Bboy/Bgirl battles are held all year round in different countries and dancers from every corner of the world come out to battle, share their passion and celebrate life. They go at it with fierce passion on the dance floor and that is magic in itself, but there is another magical thing that happens off the dance floor...I have been so moved to see how Bgirl's/Bboys love and respect each other regardless of where they are from, how much money they have, what language they speak or what faith they come from. They are united by dance and it is one of the strongest bonds I have ever seen. The sense of oneness felt between the dancers from around the world is truly a great example for us all .
