Laura Cruz is out!

Laura Cruz is the name of a TRLE level that I made, you can play it here:

Lara Croft, while disguised as Laura Cruz to run from a mysterious entity, was caught by Hanna Hegermann, a superhuman capable of creating any sort of rooms and places with her mind, thanks to some disagreement with Laura Cruz in the past, she decided to kill her by torturing Cruz in her many deadly rooms.

Since Lara Croft is not given the chance to explain that she is not Laura Cruz, she will have no other choice but to survive the deadly rooms. Of course, her abilities should prevail Cruz's, but is that really enough?

TR III - High Security Compound

High Security Compound from Tomb Raider III

This is an artwork of the level High Security Compound from Tomb Raider III! It is an especially memorable TR3 level for me since as a kid, I wasn't able to pass through the Tomb Raider levels, so I used cheats to jump levels, but in this level, you can't use cheats (you need your weapons for it and you don't have those here) so I had to actually play this level... lol, and it's one of the best levels from tr3!

If you take a close look this painting is kinda of a mess, which is a little of the intention + just really wanting to get done with it

That is because me and this drawing were always in a back and forth between ''ready'' and ''aalmoost ready'', basically, the lighting was never enough for me, but truth be told, this drawing was doomed to never please me since the beginning, it's a 2019 drawing and its core is made with my techniques and drawing ability of 2019, for it to be better I would have to redo the entire drawing, which one day I will do! But I really can't make it better than how it is now, so that's it!

Now here’s an artwork with a real person in it. I drew this person to give the artwork as a birthday gift, never happened though, I probably did most of it in 2019 November, and messed a little with it by time to time after, today I really just wanted to get done with it since so much time had passed, so here it is! Semi-realistic-real-person-artwork! I like to think that I made a good job at grabbing the essence of the person.

I used many images that he and his friends would take for fun at school, so I had lots of angles and references, but my face anatomy still needs work, so with the material I had it could’ve gone better.

It’s pretty crazy how I started out with something so far from the final painting. Honestly I did this painting quickly without giving time for detail, her eyes are way too big.

Artworks made for my yt channel

This one I gave way too much work, I always went back and fixed this or that (color, light,drawing lines) made me realize that I should do this more often with my artworks, since it looks like I finish them too early, and then, when you look quickly they seem to have a very broken anatomy and composition. Thus I should give myself the time to look at it properly. I was only able to fix it here because it was meant to be my profile picture, so it was important and I closely looked at it multiple times.

Here is one of the 30 templates I did for the drawing (16) so basically, me getting there.

Eventually I FINALLY got satisfied, and now it works as a nice and eye caching profile picture, or at least that would be the intention of it.

In this artwork I just went all out, the hair was definitely some reference to Marie Antoinette, but I can’t tell you for sure, you’ll have to ask my subconscious I guess. Making this dress was a nice Photoshop work, really liked how some parts looked like.

Here is the whole channel’s banner, the previous artwork was meant to be a gambling card piece, the queen obviously, thus Marie Antoinette, somewhere, somehow. 

Around this time I started listening to this crazy song too, so it must have something to do with it as well, the album’s artwork could’ve given some inspiration for this queen’s dress.

Took this certain scene from PewDiePie’s honeymoon video and used it to study a little bit of value, so yes this artwork was made with a base, tho after, I really liked messing with the colours, the paint with this muddy feeling in his body is pretty much what I was looking for. Could say that the darker part went way better in that sense compared to the light one

A random, very quickly-done sketch for the mcuh beloved Lara Croft, was trying some value were again, in photoshop, again.

Around this time I was very found of this kind of anatomic style since it was easy for me to draw, and so I was able to make actual artworks and still having it look right. 

I put a lot of work in this, yet the response was pretty much none, not a great day for me I guess, but still kicking! Had some unfinished drawings with this style too from the incredible MISAO game, hopefully I’ll finish them or at least share the sketches one day.
