“I am so sick and tired of people protesting the stay at home orders because haircuts are apparently more important than other peoples' live
You’ve never played by the rules. You don’t give a shit what anybody tells you! One fateful day, this gets you killed and sent to Hell. Satan himself greets you with the usual, “Greetings mortal, and Welcome to the Inferno” speech before he ends it with an unexpected, “What you did up there (pointing upward) was fucking awesome!”
You sighed deeply, understanding just what this meant. You knew you had died, you just really didn't expect to be here quite so soon. The walls were red, the floors were red, everything was red.
"Wow, Satan really needs an interior decorator down here," you rolled your eyes and quickly tapped your foot, waiting for someone to come get you.
After a while, you began to wonder if this was your hell. Patience was NOT one of your virtues so you wouldn't be at all surprised, but then someone finally appeared.
"Thank god," you started, "I was wonderin-"
"Shut up and follow me."
You shut up. The weird man started walking away at a brisk pace, so you had to speed up to catch up. Hell was not at all what you thought it'd be. For example, this man, who you were assuming was a demon, looked like a middle aged office worker 7th in line for the promotion who is just holding off until retirement in 20 years. If it weren't for his awful sulfury breath, you wouldn't have guessed that he was a demon at all.
The demon led you into a large room filled with more, you guessed it, red. You almost couldn't tell the walls from the floor. And it took you a second to notice the obnoxiously extra throne in the center of the far wall, and the obnoxiously red suited man sitting in it.
Despite your better judgment and prior knowledge, you couldn't help but admit to yourself that the devil was fricking hot. True, his head was partially on fire and that may have had something to do with it, but his eyes, his face, it was exactly the type of person you pictured when thought about walking down the aisle. You chastised yourself for fantasizing about the devil.
The demon, whose name you never caught, left as soon as you entered the room. The devil smiled, and you could see his sharp canines and shrouded face from across the room, and you shivered.
"Greetings mortal," his voice boomed across the hall, "Welcome to hell." His lips curled up in a vicious sneer, and you once again had to convince yourself that you shouldn't be attracted to him.
"Thanks...?" You managed to say without a squeak. Satan laughed, this again booming around the red room.
"Mortal, do you know why you are here? Well, I mean, that's kind of obvious, my dad's a dick, but other than that, do you know why you are here?"
You shook your head. The laugh echoed again.
As the devil came toward you, he seemed to grow in size as his eyes turned a color of vivid red that matched his crimson tie and swirled like a wild flame as he stopped, towering before you, and said,
"Well, mortal...
"I just wanted to say wow. I am SUCH a big fan. I mean, what you did up there?" Satan smacked his lips as he seemed to shrink in size. "Ugh, I just, I kinda wanted you to die earlier cause I'm a fangirl and I wanted to meet you, but like that last bit? I mean, GENIUS! I cannot believe your actually here oh my dad."
You stood, frozen. *The devil... likes me?*
"Oh, man, I just remembered that I should probably introduce myself," he cleared his throat, "The name is Lucifer. Or, you know, if you prefer Satan, The Devil, Bringer of sin, Slayer of all that is good and holy, whatever floats your boat down the river of fire."
You couldn't bring yourself to make any noise other than a soft croak. Lucifer laughed, but then his face got super serious.
"Look, Ma'am. Souls die and go straight to their rooms and their daily complementary torture, you know, the norm. But, when I knew you were coming down, I knew that I had to intercept you. You see, I have a proposition for you."
"What, wha-"
"Look," Lucifer sighed, "us sinners, we get a bad rap, you know? But like, all we've done is just made a few mistakes, usually, so some of them don't believe in dad, he's a little picky about that sometimes, whatever. Look, the point is, that us major sinners? Demons and the like? We deserve better than just torture all the time. I mean, come on, the same boring tortures over and over again, you get bored with it.
"We just want a little change. Something new. That's why I brought you here. I want your help."
You were taken aback. "My help? With *what*?"
"Well," Lucifer sighed, drawing out a scroll from behind his back, "this is my current contract with my father." He unrolled it to reveal an impossibly long sheet of paper filled with minuscule lettering. You gaped at him.
"What I need from you," he said slowly, " is to help me find the loopholes. I don't want to leave, I like my scarlet paradise."
You scoffed. He gave you an annoyed look but continued.
"Look, the point is that I don't want to leave. But, I've been doing this job for what feels like eternity, and one gets a little bored with forever every now and again. I want you to find me a loophole. Find me a place that says I don't just have to torture souls. Maybe I can throw a party for my demons every once in a while and have the poor wretched torturees do cleanup duty. That could still be considered torture, could it not?"
Despite his strange logic, you could see his point. However, you were confused as to how that had anything to do with you.
"Look, Mr. Satan,"
"Ugh, please. To heaven with formalities! Just call me Luci."
""Luci," you started, giving him a strange look, "why on God's green earth would you want me?"
Luci rolled his eyes.
"First of all, my father's "green earth" is mostly blue, and second of all, because you are the most renowned lawyer of all time. If anyone can find that loophole, it's you. And, if you do this, I'll turn you into a demon straightaway, so you can skip the whole 'centuries of torture' thing. It's a pretty good deal, if I do say so myself. So? What's it going to be?"
You racked your brain with some kind of solution. While you really didn't want to be turned into a demon, you didn't want to go through centuries of torture either. Another problem was the fact that you would have no idea what you were doing. Finally, you said,
"Alright. Fine. I'll do it."
"Excellent! We'll get started right away!"
As you followed Luci out of the room, you gulped. You didn't have the heart to try to tell him the truth.
Not that you were hopelessly attracted to him (which you were), but something else.
You weren't a lawyer. You were an actor.
Magical writing prompt
Your job is to be a bounty hunter. But not just any bounty hunter. You hunt magical creatures, and are renowned for it. On the day you capture your first genie, you unknowingly rub its lamp. Now, until you can get rid of your three wishes, (each wish cannot be used in succession) you're stuck with a genie and you can't collect the reward. So, you have to put that job on hold, and instead (because you're indecisive), you do other jobs with the genie in tow. Now the person who hired you to get the genie is becoming restless. You have one wish left, but you've grown rather fond of your companion, and aren't very willing to give the genie up.
I heard that a lot of y’all were wondering what would’ve gone down if Peter had survived the Snap long enough to get stranded on that ship with Tony. Unluckily for you, I had the same question. Even more unluckily for you, I decided to write this fic to answer it.
WARNINGS: Major Character Death
Tony realized they were going to die about two days ago.
Their ship had no fuel, no power. He’d screwed around with the wiring a million times, just trying to get communications back online, but all he got was a few painful burns and jack shit in the way of results.
They were going to die in an alien spaceship, floating lightyears away from home, and there was absolutely nothing Tony could do about it.
It wouldn’t have mattered as much if he’d been alone. Sure, dying adrift in space was a pretty shitty conclusion to his life, but it wasn’t like he’d expected much else. After all, when did Tony Stark ever get lucky?
It was just… he had Peter with him.
Peter, who had stood next to him in silent horror as each and every one of their companions crumbled into dust. Peter, who Tony had checked over a hundred times in the aftermath, terrified that he was next, that the effects were just delayed, that the kid would fade before his eyes. Peter, who had been silently bearing the weight of losing on his shoulders ever since he’d seen firsthand the real consequences of war.
Peter, who was just sixteen years old.
“Mister Stark?” Peter peeked over his shoulder at the one working control panel in the whole cockpit. Tony quickly closed the oxygen stats he’d been looking at. “What’s wrong?”
Someone still might rescue us. Peter’s suit sent out a distress signal when it went offline. As long as we’re not too far out, the radio signals should have reached Earth. They’ll come. They will.
“Nothing. Just some info on the ship’s systems. You good?”
“I’m fine.” Peter shuffled a little on his feet. “A little bored, I guess.”
“Bored? I take you to space and you say you’re bored? Honestly, Peter, what do I have to do to please you?”
The kid laughed. “Dunno. Maybe take me to Paris, next time.”
“When we get home, I promise to take you to more than just Paris. We’re going on a European tour. Every major city is our new playground. Sound good to you?”
Peter flashed him a huge smile. “Sounds awesome.”
Let me get to show him Paris, and Venice, and Rome. Let me watch him graduate. Let me bring him home to May.
Please. Please. Please.

I love this fic so much but I'm crying 😭
Love can be used as a defense against hexes and curses, where if someone is loved by someone or something else, they will be granted a bit of protection from opposing magic that is used on them. You are a notorious criminal on death row, however the executioner’s magic is completely useless against you and your apparent love shield.
You rolled your eyes at the executioner's boring spiel. It was all meaningless. They should just get right to it. The staff in their hand glinted in the air and caught your eye once again.
You supposed that perhaps it was fate that you had finally been caught when trying to steal that staff. The symbol of the power of the "good" side. The one thing that had brought down all of your idols.
Looking out into the crowd, you saw a familiar face. Of course your father would be here. They generally didn't come to these, but probably made an acception for you. It was your choice to switch sides but your parents never forgave you for it. They were too caught up in politics to risk staying connected to a notorious criminal.
Finally, the executioner shut his mouth and prepared for your death. Always one to put on a show, you shifted your weight and smiled into the crowd. Catching your father's eye you winked. The executioner pointed his staff at you and you realized how much you were shaking. Despite your apparent nonchalance, you were terrified. The staff started glowing with an eerie green glow and suddenly a beam of light shot toward you. You prepared yourself for the worst.
You opened your eyes expecting to be in some form of afterlife. The scene in front of you, however, was exactly the same. Confusion passed across your face. Looking into the crowd, you saw that feeling reflected on everyone else's. Turning around, you noticed the executioner holding his staff in horror. Smiling a bit, you were confused as to what happened, but ultimately relieved. The executioner pointed the staff at you again, inevitably to try again.
Just then, a rather familiar voice sounded from the crowd.
"It won't work."
You peeked over your shoulder to see a young girl from your group of criminals, and now that you noticed her, you saw a bunch of your teammates' disguised faces staring back at you.
"Excuse me?" Your father stood up from his place at the front of the crowd.
"It won't work. Your magic has no effect on Justice." The girl, named Lela stated. You were confused as to how the magic wouldn't affect you.
"Impossible. Obviously it was just a leftover defense spell." The executioner stated defensively. The staff had worked on everyone until now.
"But it is. You see, compared to you, your 'majesty', Justice has the ability to tell the truth. The one that everyone knows but cannot say."
"And what is that?" Your father's challenging voice boomed across the square.
She had a glint in her eye when she replied, "That you are the evil one. Justice has led the resistance efforts ever since she realized what you truly are: a monster. She's saved hundreds from your terrible laws. And guess what, every single one of those people has a place in their heart for her. The executioner's magic is ineffective because there are thousands of people across the country and surrounding territories even that love your daughter and hate you."
You didn't think anyone was more astonished then you at that point. You freed your hands from the feeble bonds and stared at Lela. Then, lookin over at the executioner's staff, you lunged for it. The crowd grasped as the executioner, in surprise, gave it up. Standing on the platform, looking out on the country, your heart filled with love toward your fellow citizens and resentment toward your father.
You turned to look at him. "I don't know if this is true, but your evil nature is." You pointed the staff at him. Everyone gasped. "Even before mother died, you showed your dark side. I am proud of my accomplishments against you. And I am here to take your throne." The staff charged and fired, leaving nothing where your father used to be.
It took 18 years, but you had finally gotten justice with the help of those who loved you: the entire country.
You are an exorcist, a devoted servant who executes Church’s orders. One day you receive an order to exorcise some possesed girl. When you finally meet her, it turns out that she is very lonely and she sold her soul to a demon of her own will, in exchange the demon has to be her friend and care for her. What do you do?
Become her friend. She don't need no demon 'friend' ruling her life.
Just watched The House With a Clock in it's Walls... *SPOILERS*
It was great. But can I just say one thing........ AZAZEL! Omg, Supernatural was the first thing I thought of when I saw the name. Lol I like him a lot better in Supernatural than HWaC. Okay, that said...
It was an amusing movie. And a little scarier than its previews foreshadowed. Jack Black was perfect for this role, it was the perfect amount of humor. I have to say (don't be mad) I have not read the book, but definitely will. Personally. I thought it was a cute movie. It had a sort of Disney aura but not super cheesy. Yeah, it was a little predictable, but that's what those kinds of movies are. The effects were well done, the script was fabtastic, and the music matched the story perfectly. It had the right amount of suspense and fright.
My little sister doesn't like scary movies. She'll hide her eyes and get scared, which she did at some parts, but it stays so light hearted that you can't help but watch, even if you're scared. Personally, I'm not a fan of horror movies, but this had a good balance of fright, humor, and quality.
The casting was phenomenal. I've already mentioned Jack Black, and this was a great role for him, but it was also an amazing performance by Cate Blanchett. It's sad to say that I really only know her from Thor Ragnarok, and this is a stark contrast to that villian role. She's an incredible actress. She made me cry, made me laugh, and the on-screen chemistry between her and Jack Black is what gave the movie a lot of its relatable humor. I thought Lewis was approproately cast, and let's just say that the actress for Selena Izard is WORKing it (hint: think Schuyler Sisters 😉)
I recommend this movie to faithful Disney fans. It's a bit more mature than some Disney films what with the bit of horror and all, but it's an overall wonderful movie. I would go see it again, 100%.
You are a time traveler and have been stuck in the Roman Empire for years. On the Ides of March of 44 BC, after Caesar has been assassinated, you hear someone say “this is so sad, Alexa play Despacito”.
You look around. There’s no one there. “Hello?” You call out. You’re confused. You have no clue who Alexa is or what desbaseetoh could possibly be, but you’re still in Caesar’s Palace. Suddenly, the voice speaks again.
“Wait what was that.”
You jump and cry out in surprise. The voice responds with a cry of its own. People are now looking at you oddly. You quick hide around a corner.
“Wh-who is that?”
“You can hear me?” The voice whispers. “I can hear you? God, Jamie WAS right. I do need major fucking help.”
“What is happening?” You mumble. It takes you a couple minutes to realize that you are speaking English. Modern English. A language you haven’t heard in 13 years. “Who are you?” You ask heisitantly.
“My name is Laura. I was just reading a fiction book about Ancient Rome. Then, the main character, you, responded to me. What the hell is happening?”
You freeze. A book? About you? You get suspicious. “What year are you from?” You ask.
“2018.” They respond, a little confused. Your mouth falls open. Someone from YOUR past is attempting to reach you.
You were born in 2050 and instantly showed prowess as a time traveler. When NASTA (National Aerospace and Time administration) hired you for their Caesar mission, the fourth of its kind, no one expected anything to go wrong. However, when you got there, your own abilities failed you and you were trapped. You were eleven at the time.
After getting a job as a servant in Caesars household, then rising up to be one of his closest advisors, you kept the mission going as if nothing was wrong. For 13 years you kept up hope and now someone was contacting you. But they didn’t even know that time travel existed yet.
“2018?” You mumble hopelessly. NASTA used to contact you in this exact way. You had hoped it would be them.
“Yeah... why are you disappointed and not freaking out? I’m freaking out. I can’t believe that I’m actually talking to THE Samdrel the wise. Jamie’s gonna flip.”
Suddenly you felt a pull. A tug in your chest. Something felt tight. You recognized this feeling. Your abilities had returned. You latched on the the rambling voice in your mind and felt yourself getting spun into the future. You landed in the bedroom of what looked like a broke college student. The girl at the desk screamed and jumped up. You breathed heavily and leaned against the wall. Jumping took a lot out of you.
Laura stared at you cautiously. “Samdrel?” She asked. You looked into her soft green eyes and nodded. She gasped in astonishment.
“Actually” you managed to say, “the name’s Sam. I’m from the year 2061 and I’m a time traveler. I was stuck in Ancient Rome for 13 years. You pulled me out. Thank you Laura. By the way, what’s your last name? I used to know someone who looked just like you.”
“Jaxston.” She responded, still in awe. You were the one who gaped. She had the same last name as your best friend, the descendant of the very first time traveler. You realized that this girl must be an ancestor of hers. You knew that you probably would get stuck here now too, so you have yourself a new mission. Protect this woman at all costs. The future was in your hands.
Writing prompts as quotes:
Here are a few quotes I thought of that’d be pretty great writing prompts. Let me know if more that I could add on, or if you use any of them to write something!
“My life is a perpetual existential crisis.”
“I know I technically can talk to people but I can’t. I actually physically cannot. I can’t just walk up to someone and trust them with my deepest secrets. It takes years for me to trust someone even a little. People break your trust all the time, and once they do, it’s nearly impossible to get it back, if at all.”
“I’m not a hot mess. I’m a chaotic disaster.”
“You say abortion is terrible and is just killing someone, but you actively fight for the right to a destructive weapon capable of killing many more... how does that work?”
Okay ranting time
Okay this is a rant about American politics, so if you don’t want to read, by all means, keep scrolling. So I am an white, heterosexual, American female who is not yet old enough to vote but that does not mean I’m not able to voice my opinions. This is what they are. Okay this is a rant about American politics, so if you don’t want to read, by all means, keep scrolling. So I am a white, heterosexual American female who is not yet old enough to vote but that does not not mean I can’t voice my opinions. First of all, I have no problems with any race, sexual orientation, gender, or personality, but it just erks me to no end when people think they are better than others because they are one way. Even people who supposedly have “priveleges” have it hard too. We have to deal with the stereotypes of those who hate everyone else. One white person hates on someone else who is different and suddenly that becomes all white people. Don’t get me wrong, I despise it when people get all hoity toity. People who are of different races and sexualities are stereotyped too and that’s what our world has come to. Just one big ball covered with hate and anger filled time bombs. Someone says one thing and boom. We go off. Wars start and people start hating the others who used to be their friend, or coworker, or family member. It also annoys me how people see the issues going on, but they don’t take the time to learn more about them before forming an opinion. And when those opinions are formed, most of the time, they’re pretty strong. They blindly follow whoever claims they will give them the things they want most. Our current president for example, has been doing some good things in office, but most of it eerily reminds me of Umbridge from Harry Potter. Signing executive action after executive action, sending awful, hate filled, negative tweets that just put down everyone around him, and make more hatred in the world. However, we didn’t have any good choices this election and that is the voters’ fault. And a lot of people who had really strong opinions didn’t vote at all! It’s not right. Hatred and injustices are awful things, and it’s horrendous that we still have to deal with them even with all of our advances. People need to start educating themselves on the things they truly believe in, or our country will just continue to get worse and worse until we suddenly have a Third World War. Please America, let’s get off of our couch cushions, away from our precious TVs and start making changes that really matter. #smallstepsgiantleaps
