Mary had been a little out of the loop when it came to the town gossip and where everyone was at, having taking time away to enjoy the perks of being a married woman with her husband and a few friends. "What the fuck is a Venin?" Mateo asked. He shook his head and then added, "You can't leave the house looking like something that is about to take over and kill everyone in their path. They'll lock your ass up."
"I can't comprehend what is going through some people's minds when they talk. I went on a date last night and she straight up told me she only wanted to date so she could become famous." He shook his head but gave a laugh. "I can laugh about it now, but still." @ggstarterblog
"Are you fucking serious?" He raised a brow and looked at Dimitri and then shook his head. "I'm glad you can laugh, but damn dude, that still fucking sucks."
This wasn't supposed to happen. He was supposed to be safe here. There was no magic, no Sagyel, but as he looked in the mirror, his eyes were red, and the veins around him were also red, in lightning forms. This had to be a nightmare. It had to be.
He refused to believe that this was reality, but it was.
"FUCK!" He shouted and closed his eyes and let them stay shut for several moments before opening them again and seeing that his eyes were still red, and he growled.
This was not okay.
Hearing a pounding on his apartment door, he shouted, "It's open!" Not sure why he did, but it was too late now.
Running a hand through his hair, he shook his head and walked out of the bathroom to greet the person who had shown up.
"Don't scream." He said to them. He knew how he looked and it wasn't good.

"I saw that you know." Fury said with a sly smile as she walked up to someone in Central Park. She was dressed head to toe in her usual all black attire and she folded her arms across her chest and she looked the person over as if contemplating to tattle on them, before she said, "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." @ggstarterblog
"Well it's a good thing I wasn't trying to hide now, wasn't it?" Mateo cocked a brow and looked at Fury.
“Issac is my boyfriend.” She reminded him with a laugh, “And honestly shoes are a pretty good idea. I think he will love them.”
"Your boyfriend needs better shoes, Skylar." Mateo laughed. "I hope so, he doesn't really have a choice in if he gets them or not."
