They're off to Elbaf!
Ready or Not (2019)
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026)
giant cuteness
Zoro wanting to see the Elbaf's school because it reminds him of his dojo:
Look at him smiling!! The dojo is the place he spend most of his time as a kid and as a teen, the closest place he had to a home.
I hope one day we'll see Zoro reuniting with his dojo sensei and I know it's impossible until the straw hats find the one piece but I'll also like to see him visiting the dojo and his home village once again.
In retrospect, the time Robin spent with the Straw Hats were not long. A few months could not be compared to the twenty years she had spent on the run. But those were the most vibrant, chaotic, yet brazenly zealous days of her life.
I wasn't kidding when I said I wrote a 11k one-shot fic for this so give it a read if you're into that //// <here>
This will be my last art piece for awhile since I don't know what else to draw but thank you for loving them! Maybe I will get more inspiration with how constant I check the tag ahah
Zoro saves Robin in Skypiea:

Eemi, one of the animators of episode 1163, posted this beautiful Robin & Saul art:

One Piece Episode 1164. It's just pleasant visual components~ TOEI knows something…
Visually, from this angle, he is closest to her.
Visually, she is with a child, he is with a child. They could have placed Bonnie anywhere Offtopic:
It looks like it really is Shirahoshi 👀 (Or Boa Hancock, she also has blue eyes 👀)
Them together before Oda separates them again for a long time...
Their smiles mean more than a thousand words~
The manga has me on the floor rn i was giggling and kicking my feet
Fallen petals scattered over their pillows and carefully, Robin brushed them away. Her hand lingered by Zoro, a soft petal settled neatly against his earrings. Hand steady, she reached out to pluck the petal from his side, his warm breath fanning over the thin skin of her wrist. She got up and left before her control slipped further. Not realizing she had already arranged the petals in the shape of a flower by his pillow.
Hi is it insane to write a fanfic, draw a scene for it, only because there's only 1 frame of it shown in the anime?
I have no idea who left that by Zoro's side, Luffy doesn't have it, so let me indulge in my delusions (don't correct me).
Anyways I'm shoujo-fying this shounen heh
OH MY GOD. I completely missed that, this is simply amazing!!!
It's literally a symbol of a "secret patron," as you rightly noted — the petals aren't just "haphazardly" arranged due to their fall, but are arranged in a "flower" shape.
Let's think about who could "collect" them?
Hiyori is, at first glance, the most obvious option (but only at first glance). She really did "care for" Zoro while he was unconscious. But ask yourself, why would Hiyori, who was already there "every day", do something like that? This doesn't fit Hiyori's character — she's always open, assertive, and unabashedly expresses her thoughts and feelings. She tells Zoro straight to his face, in front of everyone, that she "washed" him, or "Did you enjoy sleeping with me?" Hiding behind ambiguous floral patterns is completely out of character for her.
This gesture is more likely to belong to a "secret patron" or someone who expresses care silently and delicately. Who could it be? (:
Of course, I believe Robin did it. Let me explain why. It's perfect from a symbolic perspective.
Robin is always associated with flowers. She has her own flowerbed on Sunny. Her fruit is Hana-Hana (literally translated as Flower-Flower). Similar petals appear when she uses her power.
And most importantly — she leaves flowers. Think of Ryunosuke in the Zoa arc, or, even closer, she was with O-Toko at Yasu's grave in Wano and left flowers there.
It's Robin's way of expressing silent respect, reverence, and care where words are unnecessary. If I'm not mistaken, she's the only character in the arc who consciously makes such "flowery" gestures.
Do you really believe Robin wouldn't check on Zoro and Luffy? Remember Thriller Bark, when Robin was also there for Zoro when he was unconscious after "Nothing Happened". Or remember Dressrosa, when Luffy was unconscious after the battle, she also took his Straw Hat and placed it next to him. Silently placing a neat little flower on Zoro's pillow while he was unconscious — that's totally her style!
She treats flowers very carefully, and I can easily imagine her arranging the fallen petals into a flower-like pattern.
Also, I might be exaggerating, but I think the "flower" the petals are arranged in bears some resemblance to a dahlia.
For those who don't know, Robin's fruit Hana-hana no mi is a dahlia.
Want another "coincidence" or just a fun fact? There's a variety of this flower called the Dahlia Zorro. If you want to hide something, put it in plain sight. Right? xd
Dahlia Zorro Finally, I was able to tell about this somewhere…
So I think this flower pattern of petals is clearly no coincidence, because in the shot where they are shown from the side, this is also visible! It's very similar to the "little kiss" for ZoRobin from the anime adaptation.
And of course, your art… Do I even need to tell you how beautiful they are?… Just take this as a "big comment" xd Thank you! 💚💜
