The foreboding feeling that this, that something was happening again, didnât leave Beth as she drifted to the scene with everyone else. But there had never been any disruptions to their peaceful life in the Literature Club. None at all. It wasnât always easy to get along with everyone, and in fact, there werenât a great many people she believed she could get along with. Most of the girls she found tolerable were DÌĄÌ”ÍÌąÌ·EÌŽÌAÍÍĄÍ ÍÌ”D̶ÍÍĄÌšÌ” had never existed. At least some of them didnât bother her, and she was fine with that. The boys in general were alright, but JĂ©rĂ©mie was really the only one she considered a close friend. She was happy for Travanis and Toto, she really was, but ever since she had, ahem, tactfully encouraged them to get together, it felt like sheâd seen less and less of them.
That was fine. She still had her friend. Her friend who she was currently worried to death over. Her heart sank when the discovery was made apparent to everyone, she didnât see him congregate with everyone, he wasnât there why wasnât he there, where was he, where WAS he--

Oh no.
There he was.
On shaking legs and with the audible sounds of sniffling and crying trailing behind her, she unsteadily wandered out of the pool area, ultimately collapsing in the locker room, and sobbing.
